After you’ve rescued as many individuals as possible from the onslaught of Von Bergow’s forces in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, it’s time to face the attack that Sigismund has initiated on the Jewish quarter. This quest may not be very long, but it involves plenty of combat, so be prepared for a challenge.
This quest unfolds in a straightforward manner, requiring you to push through waves of enemies. Here’s a guide to help you complete it without repeatedly starting over.
Climb Onto the Wagon
First, speak with Kubyenka and then get on the wagon. Chat with Samuel and assure him that you’re going to rescue his mother. Next, talk to Kubyenka to explain the situation. When you get the option to fast travel, take it to arrive at your destination quickly. Once you land, Samuel will lead you through a secret route into Kuttenberg City.
Note: Be aware that Samuel and the Rabbi may get stuck in the tunnel. If this occurs, reload your last autosave.
Since Kubyenka is intoxicated, he will slow you down. After a short while, Liechtenstein will part ways with the group. Follow him since he needs your help locating some important documents. Head into the kitchen and confront an enemy.
Sneak up behind him to perform a stealth kill. Ensure you have a dagger equipped for this action. After eliminating him, you’ll find three more enemies nearby. You can take down one silently before engaging the other two.
Important Item Alert
You might overlook a significant item during this quest. While the game doesn’t indicate where to find it, head to one of the inn’s rooms. After leaving the kitchen, climb the stairs, and you’ll see a door straight ahead. Open it to discover a book on the table. This book, Master Studies II, can boost your scholarship skills, and you can read it after the quest.
Wait For Samuel
Once the enemies are defeated, a prompt will ask you to wait for Samuel outside the inn. Exit through the courtyard door, triggering a cutscene. Afterward, follow Samuel, and when he stops, head to the house marked on the map to speak with his mother, Sara.
Chat with Sara, then follow her as she tries to escape. Some archers will attack from above. Though you can attempt to shoot them with a crossbow, it can be a hassle due to the lengthy reload time.
Instead, it’s more efficient to go up and take them out with your sword—killing even one will cause the other to flee. Continue following Sara until she halts outside a house. Enter and defeat two more enemies. After that, exit the house to trigger another cutscene.
Defend Against Erik’s Forces
Erik will burst through the door with several soldiers, meaning you need to fend them off. This fight can be tough, especially if you’re not well-equipped. Make sure to wear your best armor and brandish your top weapon.
You don’t need to defeat all the enemies; just hold your ground for about four to five minutes until a cutscene plays. Stick close to your allies to avoid getting overwhelmed.
Discuss with Sara
Once you survive the assault, a cutscene will play as you and the group manage to escape. Make your way over to Sara and speak with her. Discuss the man who raised you and shared some blacksmithing knowledge with Henry.
Note: While you don’t have to ask every possible question about Henry’s guardian, it’s beneficial to gather as much information as you can.
After your conversation, the quest will conclude and seamlessly transition into the next main mission, The Lion’s Den.
