In Infinity Nikki, there are numerous activities to enjoy, but the extravagant New Year festival is truly a highlight. With colorful lanterns, lively firecrackers, and stunning outfits, it’s a celebration you won’t want to miss. Keep in mind that all the new quests and games are only available for a limited time, so be sure to soak in the excitement before it wraps up!

In this guide, we’ve detailed everything you can participate in during the event, so you can earn your rewards and celebrate in style alongside Nikki and Momo. Here’s your complete guide to the New Bloom Festival in Miraland!

Walkthrough for “Listening to the Echoes of the Past”

During this event, you’ll have the opportunity to meet Du Yubai in Florawish. She is a talented musician from the Linlang Empire who is visiting Wishfield for the first time. However, when you arrive at the docks, you’ll discover that she’s gone missing.

Your adventure involves a frantic search for this virtuoso to the south of the Bug Song Hills. Once you find her surrounded by esselings, you’ll have to fend them off. This encounter will lead to her revealing why she came to Wishfield and what made her slip away.

Though Du Yubai’s story occurred over 800 years ago, the descendants of Mark are still present in Florawish. You’ll need to find three individuals related to one of the Marks who lived there all those years ago. Here’s who to look for and where to find them:

• Monaco, the street sweeper. Located on Lilina Street, hard at work outside the Kingdom Guard Office.
• Fournier, the head chef. You can find him inside Ray and Wing’s shop in the town center.
• Elettra, the architect. She’s at the Dream Warehouse Tower.

After speaking with each descendant, join Du Yubai at the top of the Dream Warehouse to release the paper crane and fulfill her wish. Conclude your quest by meeting back at the White Jade dock to enjoy Du Yubai’s performance.

Rewards for the New Bloom Reunion

Along with an exclusive quest line for the festival, you’ll also find shorter quests available for a limited time. These are categorized into New Bloom Chronicles and Fun Encounters, each offering similar rewards.

As you complete the Listening to the Echoes of the Past quest, you’ll take several photos to celebrate your time with Du Yubai. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with Ginona to snap event photos.

How To Play Whim Tangram

In this minigame, you’ll need to piece together seven wooden blocks to form different shapes. You can take all the time you wish, but it can still be a challenge. Here are some tips to help you succeed:

• Start with the largest pieces. When you receive the puzzle, place the biggest blocks first, as there are limited spots for them on the board, giving you a better sense of where the smaller pieces should go.
• Rotate frequently. If something seems off, try rotating the block. You may end up finding it was upside down!
• Don’t hesitate to start over. If you’re feeling stuck or can’t get the pieces lined up, it’s perfectly fine to remove everything and begin anew. You have unlimited tries.
• Experiment when unsure. Sometimes placing a block down, even if it’s in the wrong spot, can help you visualize the puzzle. Remember, it’s all about trial and error.

Highlights of the New Bloom Festival

Beyond festive quests and bright outfits, there are a few noteworthy highlights during this celebration. To welcome the New Year, you’ll find firecrackers and lanterns adorning the shores of Florawish. Here’s what to know:

How To Use Ground Firecrackers

You’ll spot colorful, small packets scattered around Florawish. When you step on them, they’ll produce a delightful crackling sound, resembling mini fireworks.

These fun firecrackers will reappear regularly, and all you need to do is engage with the festival to enjoy them!

The street filled with Ground Firecrackers is located on the map, just northwest of the wharf.

How To Use New Bloom Lanterns

Beautiful lanterns grace the waters of Florawish to celebrate the New Year, and you can buy more lanterns to place yourself. To purchase, speak with Zhuo Hua at the wharf, where you can get up to 1,000 of these stunning lotus lanterns at 100 blings each.

These are temporary decorations which will disappear when the event concludes.

To use these lanterns, simply open your backpack to equip them. Then, activate decorating mode using your hotbar to place the lanterns in the water.
