The Elder Scrolls 7 Update
Kurt Kuhlmann, a lore expert for The Elder Scrolls, recently shared his thoughts in an interview. He believes that Bethesda may not use two popular locations in The Elder Scrolls 7 because their inhabitants could be too unusual for Xbox.
It’s been almost 14 years since the last main game in The Elder Scrolls series was released. However, we know that the sixth game is coming. Bethesda has only shown a teaser and confirmed its existence, but many think it will take place in Hammerfell.
While we wait for more information about the game, fans are speculating about where the seventh game might be set. Even though TES 6 doesn’t have a name yet, some fans are already curious about the next location. One developer is doubtful about two potential places, though.
My Dream of Exploring a Land Filled with Khajiit is Dead
This week, Kurt Kuhlmann participated in an interview with Kiwi Talkz, where they talked about the series. During the discussion, Kuhlmann expressed his thoughts on The Elder Scrolls 7 and its possible settings.
Unfortunately for fans, Kuhlmann does not think that two of the most requested locations will be featured in TES 7. He mentioned he is interested to see where it will be set but feels Elsweyr or Black Marsh might not be feasible because these regions mainly have Khajiits and Argonians as their populations.
Kuhlmann explained that this situation makes it “much weirder” than a setting focused on humans, making it a more challenging task. Given that he previously mentioned Oblivion was supposed to be much stranger, it is not surprising to hear these areas might be too peculiar.
While this is disappointing, Kuhlmann didn’t say that it’s impossible to see a game based in those regions. Thankfully, players can still explore parts of both locations in The Elder Scrolls Online, so they are not entirely left out.
