If you’ve been eagerly awaiting what Dungeons & Dragons will announce in 2026, you’re not alone. Fans are curious about what Wizards of the Coast will introduce after its recent overhaul of the core rulebooks and what missing elements might finally make their debut.
Luckily, we now have a clear picture. D&D has a full year of new adventures planned, with each season bringing fresh themed content. In addition to official releases, there will be plenty of partnered material to expand your game while waiting for major updates. From upcoming D&D Beyond features and events to new books, here’s everything coming in 2026.
All 2026 Releases and Events
D&D Beyond has outlined its plans for the year, with various updates and content to enrich your gameplay. There will be more partnered releases aimed at broadening your campaigns. Expect new sourcebooks, adventures, and other exciting material as the year progresses.
Winter Releases & Events
In winter, there were several key releases, including eagerly anticipated content revisiting Eberron and new material for the Pugilist class.
- Exploring Eberron: Adds new species and subclass options for the iconic setting, debuting after the official release of Eberron: Forge of the Artificer.
- The Pugilist: Introduces a playable streetfighter class with six subclasses, plus new weapons, magic items, and creatures.
- Faster Purple Worm Kill Kill Vol 1: Offers 15 new adventures spread across Eberron, the Feywild, and beyond, featuring classic monsters like Demogorgon, Strahd, and Xanathar, along with new magic items.
Spring Releases & Events
Spring will bring updates to streamline gameplay and more opportunities for fans to connect:
- D&D Beyond Tools: Improved DM prep features to help get your table started faster.
- Events: D&D will be showcased at Universal Fanfest and Garycon.
- Heliana’s Guide to Monster Hunting Part 2: Continues offering new crafting, tracking, and harvesting options, along with additional subclasses and feats—though the Tamer class will be excluded.
- The Griffin’s Saddlebag Book One: A companion to Book Two, arriving in D&D Beyond’s catalog with more magic items.
- Dinosaur Content: Dr. Drohlin’s Dictionary of Dinosaurs adds new player options and plot hooks, created by paleontologists and themed around dinosaurs and paleontology.
- Tom Cartos Sticker Packs: New maps and sticker sets for D&D Beyond’s Virtual Tabletop.
- Northlands Worldbook: Two Kickstarter books will be added, featuring eight new subclasses with adventures inspired by Norse and Asgardian themes suited for icy, Arctic campaigns.
Summer Releases & Events
Summer promises more spooky, mysterious content:
- Event Finder: A new feature for D&D Beyond to locate these events.
- Conventions: D&D will appear at Gen Con and London Fan Fest.
- Ravenloft: The Horrors Within: The season of horror will bring the return to the Domains of Dread, with Strahd controlling the storyline. This gameplay expansion will be available in June, with preorders starting April 13. D&D Beyond’s DMS will get early access in June, with a full release on June 16.
Fall Releases & Events
Fall will feature more magical themes and new adventures:
- Arcana Unleashed: Includes both a gameplay expansion and an adventure called Arcana Unleashed: Deadfall, launching in September. These books focus on magic and the arcane, celebrating spellcasters and power-magic themes.
- More Partnered Content: Additional modules, adventures, and new subclasses will continue to be released, expanding the magical universe.
Winter and Beyond
Details for winter remain under wraps but are expected to wrap up with the Season of Champions. There will also be further partnered products adding new options and adventures throughout the year.
