In Episode Two of Dispatch, Robert begins his first day working at the Superhero Dispatch Network. It’s normal to feel unsure at first, but many familiar faces are already at the office, and you’ll have opportunities to make new friends with some guidance.
We’ll guide you through every important decision and show you how to achieve the best results when sending heroes to emergencies. Don’t stress about being perfect since it’s your first day, but if you like to get things right, we’re here to help! Here’s everything you need to survive your first day at SDN in Dispatch.
Getting Into Uniform Choices
After watching a commercial featuring Phenomaman’s less-than-great acting, you’ll meet Waterboy for the first time. Talk with him until Blonde Blazer arrives and takes you to get your new uniform. Depending on how things went earlier and whether you kissed her, you’ll have specific choices to make.
Should You Apologize to Blonde Blazer?
-
Tell Her the Kiss Wasn’t a Mistake
If you want to continue pursuing Blonde Blazer, you can tell her the kiss was deliberate. She’ll remember this, but she will set a clear boundary that last night was a mistake, and there will be no negative consequences.ADVERTISEMENT -
Make Light of Things
You can joke about the drunken incident, which will help Blonde Blazer relax. She’ll remember this and remain on good terms, but she’ll still feel guilty about the unprofessional moment during your interview.
After the conversation, you’ll meet Invisigal, who was definitely listening in. You can end this chat either keeping a positive outlook or being more doubtful about what’s coming next.
Bathroom Break Choices
Blonde Blazer will give you a quick tour of the office. When you get to the bathroom, there’s not much happening there, but you might bump into a large, muscular guy named Royd. While at the urinals, he offers you a fist bump.
Should You Fist Bump Royd?
-
Fist Bump Royd
There’s no real downside. Fist bumping him helps you start on good terms with Royd, who’s working on the Mecha Man suit. He’ll be friendlier toward you from the beginning, speeding up your rapport. -
Don’t Fist Bump Royd
If you prefer not to interact while in the bathroom, you can decline his offer. He won’t take it personally, but your future dealings may feel a little colder.
Meeting Chase Choices
To get to know your team better, you’ll visit the records area and reconnect with Chase. Feel free to ask questions; browsing his files can reveal more about his powers and his history with the Robertson family. Your choices here won’t impact the story too much, but you’ll learn some useful details, including that you can ask Chase his age — but avoid pitying him.
Episode Two Dispatch Decisions
Your first day also involves managing the Z-Team, a group of heroes working under your leadership, to handle incoming calls. You get one shift, so choose carefully based on the options below.
Even with a high chance of success, things can go wrong.
First Shift Options
| Emergency | Stats Needed | Heroes Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Lost Balloon | Mobility, Charisma | Invisigal |
| VAND-GO Opening | Charisma, Intellect | Prism or Sonar |
| Cray Cray Bidet | Hacking | N/A (special event) |
| Fight at Crypto Night | Intellect | Sonar, Prism, and/or Punch Up |
| Retrieve Stolen Boat | Mobility, Combat, Intellect | Coupe, Sonar, or Invisigal |
| Blaze in the Suburbs | Vigor, Intellect, Mobility | Golem or Malevola |
| Museum Robbery | Mobility, Intellect | Malevola |
| In The Zone | Charisma, Intellect | Coupe, Malevola, or Prism |
| Apprehend Art Thieves | Intellect | Invisigal, Coupe, Malevola, or hack |
| Juvenile Pickpocket | Charisma | Prisma, Punch Up, Malevola, Invisigal |
| Locate Stolen Art | Vigor, Intellect, Mobility | Invisigal, Golem, Punch Up, Flambae |
Should You Send Sonar as Security?
Sending Sonar to guard the art gallery will give him an extra 200% XP bonus — he’s a big fan of Vanderstenk and would love to pitch ideas to his hero. If you prefer someone else to protect him, you can choose accordingly. You only get to pick once, and if Sonar isn’t available or in the wrong form, pick another hero from the Z-Team. Charisma and Combat stats matter here.
Granny’s Donut Shop Choices
After your first shift, Invisigal will assign herself to an urgent call at Granny’s Donut Shop. When you arrive, the scene is already a mess, and Granny is knocked out. You’ll help Invisigal investigate, but the thief is still nearby. During a tough fight inside the shop, you can support Invisigal in taking down the suspect.
It seems things are under control until Granny, now on his feet and armed, joins the fight. You face a decision:
Should You Capture the Thief or Disarm Granny?
-
Capture the Thief
If you tell Invisigal to focus on catching the thief, she’ll ignore Granny, who is the immediate threat, and Granny will sustain minor injuries. The thief escapes, but safety is prioritized. -
Disarm Granny
If you instruct Invisigal to disarm Granny, she’ll go after the thief, who then gets away, and Granny ends up with serious injuries.
End of Day Choices
After the chaos, you have a confrontation in the breakroom with Invisigal. Regardless of what you say, she will give Robert a bloody nose and leave him on the ground. Then, you meet with Chase and Blonde Blazer to discuss your day.
When Blonde Blazer asks about your nose, you can choose whether or not to tell her the truth about Invisigal. It’s usually better to avoid workplace drama, so picking an excuse is often the smarter move. Blonde Blazer believes in Invisigal’s potential, so it’s best not to undermine her.
Later, as you leave the SDN building, Phenomaman arrives to pick up Blonde Blazer. He invites you to join their date, but Blonde Blazer signals you strongly not to come.
Should You Accept Phenomaman’s Dinner Invitation?
-
Accept the Invitation
If you agree, Blonde Blazer quickly explains that the reservation can’t be changed at the last minute. She worries the rush to the restaurant might be dangerous for Robert. You’ll end up going home alone. -
Decline the Invitation
Turning it down makes Blonde Blazer happy, as she doesn’t have to worry about her date getting interrupted, and she trusts you more for the future.
