Where to Locate the Night Mite
This quest serves as a hidden requirement to unlock both Timon and Pumbaa’s level ten quests. To begin, you need to max out friendship with both Timon and Pumbaa first.
Once you’ve earned their trust, the hunt begins. Explore your village, focusing particularly on the Peaceful Meadow, to find a tiny shadowy bug. It’s known for its swift movements and leaves behind a trail of darkness.
The exact location of the Night Mite changes based on how you’ve decorated your village, so keep a close watch!
Fortunately, the bug moves in a predictable pattern. Observe its movements and time your steps to intercept it effectively. Once you’ve caught the bug, take it to Merlin for analysis.
Upon examining the Night Mite, Merlin discovers that its effects are similar to those of the Night Thorns. He advises you to enlist the help of the best bug catchers in the valley: Timon and Pumbaa!
After consulting with Timon and Pumbaa, head over to Merlin’s Library to kick off the investigation. Discuss the details with Merlin, then circle back to Timon and Pumbaa to complete the quest and immediately start The Infestation questline aimed at eliminating the Night Mites for good!
