During the Galactic Battle, Fortnite has set up Outposts all over the island, with different Star Wars factions claiming various territories and putting up roadblocks for protection. These locations can offer valuable loot, but be cautious: some are guarded by NPCs that will attack if you get too close. These Outposts are essential for completing many quests this season, so here’s your guide to finding all the Outposts in Fortnite.

Where to Find Outposts in Fortnite

There are 15 Outposts located throughout the island, divided among four main factions, with each group controlling about a quarter of the map. You can find them on or near roads, in these areas:

Rebel Outposts
- South of Resistance Base
- South of Flooded Frogs
- Northwest of Brutal Boxcars
Imperial Outposts
- West of Outlaw Oasis
- Southwest of Crime City
- Northeast of Canyon Crossing
- Southwest of Masked Meadows
- Southeast of Foxy Floodgate
First Order Outposts
- Northeast of Magic Mosses
- Southwest of Pumped Power
- North of Shining Span
Republic Outposts
- South of Masked Meadows
- North of Masked Meadows
- Southeast of Seaport City
- Northwest of Kappa Kappa Factory

Aside from completing quests, there are plenty of reasons to explore these Outposts in Fortnite. Many offer chests and floor loot, and several provide access to Fortnite X-Wings and TIE Fighters, especially the Imperial Outposts located on the western side of the island. You’ll also find Telephone Booths near several First Order and Imperial Outposts, which allow you to disguise yourself as a Stormtrooper and roam among the NPCs without being attacked.

If you’re on a mission to find the Star Wars-themed characters in Fortnite, these Outposts play a crucial role. For example, you can find Luke Skywalker at the Rebel Outpost south of the Resistance Base, while Leia Organa is located at the Rebel Outpost to the northwest of Brutal Boxcars. Chewbacca can also be found battling Stormtroopers at one of the Dark Side Outposts; help him win, and he’ll join you for the rest of your game. Additionally, expect more characters to show up near Outposts in future updates, so keep looking out for them.
