Avowed is an expansive game filled with numerous collectibles to discover. Among these collectibles are the god totems, such as the Totem of Perseverance, which provide beneficial bonuses when activated at your camp. The Totem of Perseverance is the fourth totem you encounter and each area in the game features its own unique totems. By now, you should be familiar with how the totems function, but collecting their pieces can be quite a challenge.
Before you can use any totem pieces you’ve gathered, you must locate the Totem Base. Each of the four totems is accompanied by its own base, which is one of the seven pieces required to complete the entire totem. It’s important to note that even if you manage to gather the other six pieces, you will not be able to place them or reap their benefits until you install the base in your camp.
Where To Buy Clues for the Totem of Perseverance Pieces in Galawain’s Tusks
Locate the Vendor in Solace Keep
Each region in Avowed contains clues that help guide players toward the totem pieces for that area. To obtain the clue document for Galawain’s Tusk, titled Fragments of the Spoils, you need to buy it from Quartermaster Yorgu in the Solace Keep. This Keep is situated on the eastern side of Galawain’s Tusk and can be accessed after speaking with Warden Kosmin.
Tip: Make sure to bring Marius along when you approach the Warden, as you won’t gain entry without him. After retrieving him from your camp, the Warden will allow you to enter. Inside, you can find the Quartermaster in the back right corner behind a statue, where you can purchase the clue sheet for 500 gold.

The Totem Base
The core of the Totem can be found at the Shrine to Galawain in the Twinedwood area, southwest of the Solace Keep Party Camp. Defeat the ogres in the main part of the shrine, then ascend the stairs to find a smaller area leading to another shrine, where the Totem Core awaits.
Finding the Pieces
Antler of the Persevering Stag
To collect the Antler of the Persevering Stag, head to the Bridge to the Garden. Before crossing, look for a small path on the right that leads downward to a ledge where you’ll find both a body and the Antler.
Antler of the Pursued Stag
The Antler of the Pursued Stag is located north of the Pargrun Cache in this region. To access it, travel north from the Primordial Depth: North Beacon and slip through the fence on your left. Eventually, you’ll come across a lava river—cross it, enter the spider cave, and proceed to the lava chamber. Burn away the brambles to discover the Antler.
Tip: While you’re in the area, be sure to collect the nearby Hunter’s Arrows of Surviving.
Continue further until you encounter an illusory wall. Use Yazli’s dispelling ability to clear the wall and explore the revealed cave, where you’ll find the Antler of the Pursued Stag hidden among the brambles.
Wolf’s Pelt Trophy
The Wolf’s Pelt Trophy is in the southernmost building of the Ash Forest Outpost, located near this region’s Starmetal fragment. If you haven’t activated a travel beacon yet, the hike can be long. However, with the Ash Forest Beacon, you can fast-travel closer to the location.
When you reach the beacon, head northwest toward the outpost. The southernmost building has rock ledges around it that you can use to climb to the top, where the Wolf’s Pelt Trophy is waiting.
Hunter’s Arrows of Seeking
To find the Hunter’s Arrows of Seeking, head to the Mt. Forja Summit, specifically the mine area. If you’re following the main story, you’ll come here during the quest Our Dreams Divide Us Still. After defeating the main antagonist in this area, follow the southward path leading to a chest containing the Arrows.
Hunter’s Arrows of Slaying
The Hunter’s Arrows of Slaying are located in the only green area in Galawain’s Tusk, the Slumbering Fields. From the beacon, move under the archway to the north and proceed through another arch under the rocky bridge. At the T-junction, go left, following the path up a small hill through a third archway until you reach a climbing area. Use the rock ledges to ascend, then enter the small hole to find the treasure chest containing the Arrows of Slaying.
Hunter’s Arrows of Surviving
The last piece, the Hunter’s Arrows of Surviving, is found in the Lost Village. You’ll have better luck locating them after discovering the Antler of the Persevering Stag. From the Pargrun Cache, take a left up the cliffside and look southeast for a dome-covered building. Inside, on a table, you will find the final piece for the Totem of Perseverance.
Activating each totem piece provides unique perks that can significantly alter your combat style. You can activate any totem as long as you have the corresponding base, making your character even more formidable in various battles throughout Avowed.
