Monopoly Go is offering players a chance to collect pickaxes—plenty of them! The Greek Treasures event is wrapping up, but there’s still time to join the Origami Fold-Off event, giving you one final opportunity to snag those coveted pickaxes. This one-day leaderboard tournament will take place from 1 PM EST on January 19 to 3 PM EST on January 20.

How to Earn Rewards in Origami Fold-Off
To climb the leaderboard in the Origami Fold-Off, focus on landing on the four Railroad spaces scattered throughout the game board. As is typical for these events, you’ll earn more points for successful bank heists compared to shutdowns. The more you succeed in the game, the more points you’ll earn.

Unlike the previous Clay Heyday event, you may find that the points from bank heists will be a bit lower in the Origami Fold-Off. However, this means your competitors will earn less as well, making this still a competitive format.
With this being our last opportunity to assist Sofia before her current Monopoly Go adventure comes to an end, the focus will definitely be on those 130 pickaxes available. Although the point rewards may not be as high as in the Clay Heyday event, you will only need to clear 40 milestones to claim each reward. To get all the available pickaxes, reaching just the 30th milestone will be enough.
And remember, while you’re aiming for those pickaxes, there are other rewards on the line, including cash payouts, flash event triggers, and over 15,000 free dice rolls. You can also earn several sticker packs—just hit milestone 21 to collect all the available stickers.
