While limited-time events can be a great source for them, they’re not always available, so having alternative farming strategies is essential. How to Acquire Artificer’s Stones

Rewards and Drops of Artificer’s Stones

One highly effective way to obtain Artificer’s Stones in Diablo 4 is by utilizing the Tree of Whispers. This process involves completing bounties known as Whispers of the Dead, which reward players with extra experience, gold, and Grim Favors. You can exchange Grim Favors at the Tree of Whispers for a Whisper Cache, which is a great place to find Artificer’s Stones, as these caches contain a good amount of them and provide you with a clear objective.

There are also several other activities that can yield Artificer’s Stones. Completing Nightmare Dungeons, participating in Helltide, or exploring the Kurast Undercity dungeon all reward you with these stones. Additionally, Infernal Hordes may drop Artificer’s Stones from the Spoils of Greater Equipment or Spoils of Materials, or by defeating the Fell Council.

Participating in certain events, such as Legion Events and World Events, will also grant you Artificer’s Stones. Unlocking The Pit of the Artificer

In Diablo 4, Artificer’s Stones have a single function: to open The Pit of the Artificer. This dungeon is part of the endgame and offers significant advantages, such as upgrading your Paragon Glyphs and unlocking Torment difficulties. These higher difficulties increase the challenge of Diablo 4’s endgame but also enhance your chances of obtaining rare loot.

To access The Pit of the Artificer, head to Cerrigar in the Scosglen region. There, you’ll find a portal device known as the Artificer’s Obelisk on the west side of town. Interacting with the Obelisk enables you to spend your Artificer’s Stones to gain entry to The Pit. Keep in mind that you must reach level 60 and complete The Pit of the Artificer quest in Diablo 4 before you can enter.
