Cyberpunk 2077 has just released update 2.3, packed with new features like additional cars, quests, photo mode improvements, and VRR support. One interesting addition is a driving feature inspired by Grand Theft Auto.
As shared by Synth Potato on Twitter, this update includes a new cinematic camera for driving. This feature has become standard in the GTA series and enhances police chases while offering a fresh perspective as you explore the city.
Cyberpunk 2077 Takes the Cinematic Camera Even Further
The new cinematic camera, paired with the auto-drive feature, lets you enjoy Night City and its bright neon lights. “You can really sit back and enjoy the world,” said Synth Potato.
While it may seem minor, many players find it one of the most exciting features in update 2.3. “One small feature and I want to get back into it!” tweeted @Reddish_Tweets. “Long overdue,” said @ashenky0. “My favorite new feature,” tweeted @mcdizzle17. Some users like @374_Karim suggest that “GTA 6 should take inspiration from this auto-drive system” to enhance long drives. Adding a GTA-style radio would make it even better.
There’s also a way to relax and enjoy the ride. The update introduces the Delamain Taxi service, which lets you call a taxi, similar to what you see in GTA.
This update is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with the Nintendo Switch 2 version set to launch soon.
