The Stellar Blade Twitter account has been hacked by a cryptocurrency group. They are trying to promote a coin based on the game.
As of now, the account has been compromised for over seven hours. Posts related to the coin and some NSFW fan art have appeared. Kim Hyung Tae, the game’s creative director, has asked fans not to interact with the account.
In a message on his personal Twitter, he stated that Shift Up, the company behind the game, is urging everyone to avoid these posts and be cautious.
Hours later, a follow-up tweet mentioned that Shift Up has identified the party behind the scam and is working to regain control of their accounts.
The Stellar Blade Account Has Always Been NSFW, But Never Part Of A Scam
The account has a history of sharing NSFW artwork, but things became surprising back in June when some content seemed too extreme for an official brand account. However, with Stellar Blade, nothing seems off-limits, except scams.
