Creating Night Mite Wings in Disney Dreamlight Valley

As you journey through Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll encounter a variety of creatures that inhabit your village alongside its residents. However, not all of these creatures are harmless. Though they won’t attack you directly, the Night Mites pose a significant threat. They are as harmful as Night Thorns, threatening to wipe the memories of everyone in the valley!

Fortunately, you can take action against them. Partner up with Timon and Pumbaa to battle the Night Mites, destroy their nests, and protect the valley from another memory loss. Here’s how to kick off your first infestation mission with Timon in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How To Catch The Night Mites

Right after you finish the mission titled A Creepy Crawly Mystery, you will begin this quest. Head over to the Plaza and talk to Timon. He believes Night Mites are lurking around, but you will need to capture them on your own.

In the Plaza, you’ll see three Night Mites running about. If you follow them, they will lead you back to their nest. Catch each one, then interact with the nest to attempt to destroy it. Unfortunately, the nest doesn’t budge.

When you inform Timon about what you discovered, he realizes you need to boost your strength before you can break the nests.

How To Break The Night Mite Nest

Seek out the Forgotten and inquire about clearing out the Night Mite Nest. They have a potion that can potentially enhance your strength, although they haven’t tested it.

Timon also suggests disguising yourself as a giant bug to catch the Night Mites off guard. You will need to craft a set of wings to complete your disguise.

Brew The Dreamlight Boost Tonic

To create the Dreamlight Boost Tonic, gather Night Mushroom, Ginger, and Sugarcane. You can find Night Mushrooms in a hidden room within Frosted Heights.

Once you have all the ingredients, cook them at the nearest cooking station. Drink the potion to boost your strength, enabling you to break open the Night Mite Nests.

Craft The Night Mite Wings

Since the Night Mites are aware of your intentions, they are on high alert. Timon insists that donning a disguise as a large Night Mite will help you get closer to the nest again.

To create the Night Mite Wings, combine the following materials:

• Gold Nugget (3)
• Fabric (5)
• Fiber (30)

Assemble these components at the Crafting Station, then return to Timon.

Break The Night Mite Nest

Timon is thrilled that you have all the necessary items. He requests that you wear some purple and black attire along with the Night Mite Wings before you go to destroy the nest.

Once you’ve put on your disguise, head back to the Plaza and take action against the nest by interacting with it. The nest will finally collapse, and you can report your success back to Timon.
