The latest update for Cookie Run: Kingdom, called “Silence of Conviction,” is packed with intense new features. Besides introducing the final beast cookie and two fresh world exploration episodes, one feature might be easy to miss—the addition of two new treasures.
While treasures aren’t crucial for building your team, picking the right ones can give your cookies a helpful boost. This can be especially useful when you’re stuck on tough exploration stages or facing stronger opponents in the Kingdom Arena. If you’re unsure which of the new treasures might work best for you, here’s a quick overview of what each one does.
The Unyielding Berry Necklace: What It Does
This treasure is great for world exploration and battling certain arena teams. It boosts your team’s attack power and makes your cookies “heavier,” which grants resistance to knockback and flying effects. Every time a cookie uses a skill, the attack and critical hit chance increase further, and stacking this boost up to four times grants even bigger attack and damage bonuses. This makes it especially helpful for getting past long game stages or tough arena opponents that are on your level.
Note: This treasure has a specific variant, so you can’t use it together with the Horryberrian Royal Necklace. Also, its cooldown time of 13 seconds can’t be shortened, so it works best in longer battles. Using Seltzer Cookie’s “Bubble Rain” ability, which reduces knockback effects, alongside this treasure, can make battles easier when enemies push your cookies around. It’s also useful for reducing the effects of Wind Archer, Green Tea Mousse, or Stormbringer Cookies’ skills.
The Cursed Catacombs Candle: What It Does
This treasure is effective but less so against the newest beast. It extinguishes every 8 seconds to silence enemies, stopping their skills and pausing their cooldowns. When used against cookies that can also silence or stun, it can make your team especially annoying for opponents.
If the silenced target is a cookie, they take damage and their cooldowns are reduced once silence ends or if they’re immune, they get the debuff immediately. Non-cookie enemies face attack and attack speed reductions, making this useful against both cookie enemies and NPC bosses.
While the silence ability can disrupt skill-based damage in the arena, it isn’t as effective against Silent Salt Cookie, who is immune to all cooldown effects and benefits from buffs instead. Knowing when to use these treasures can significantly improve your team’s setup in Cookie Run: Kingdom.
