Elden Ring’s first major DLC, Nightreign, has dropped new content, including bosses, enemies, and fresh classes. One notable feature is the new event called Fire-Summoning Beasts, which involves your team moving around the map to defeat three bosses and earn a powerful passive buff. Here’s what you need to know about this event and whether it’s worth your effort.
How to Beat the Fire-Summoning Beasts Event
The event starts right after Night 1. Three red circles appear on the map, signaling the beginning of the event. When players enter these circles, the screen turns reddish with flying embers, indicating the event is active.
At the center of each circle is a Sundered Tricephalos, a large wolf split into parts by the Nightlord of the same name. These enemies have low health and are weak to Holy damage, making them easier to defeat if you’re using a Revenant or Undertaker build.
Important tip: Be aware that defeating one Sundered Tricephalos will power up the remaining ones, making the next bosses more challenging.
These wolves use attacks similar to the Nightlord version, so expect some familiar moves. Once you defeat one, it will spawn three smaller versions of itself that chase you relentlessly. You can either fight them or keep moving to avoid them.
When you arrive at subsequent bosses, if you didn’t kill the chasing dogs, they’ll be waiting. Defeating each boss will spawn even more aggressive hellhounds, increasing the difficulty of the last fight. Each boss you take down rewards you with 26,910 Runes, totaling 80,730 Runes if you defeat all three.
Bonus: Completing the Fire-Summoning Beasts event grants your entire team the Beast’s Hunt passive. This buff boosts stamina recovery for the team and allows you to regain stamina with each attack. While not the most flashy, this stamina regen can really help especially for melee classes constantly in motion.
