To engage this Weekly Boss, players must first complete Raiden Shogun’s second Story Quest titled “Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act II – Transient Dreams.” You will battle Magatsu Mitake Narukami No Mikoto at the conclusion of the quest, although this initial fight is adjusted so that you cannot lose.

After finishing the quest, you can access a new Trounce Domain called “End of Oneiric Euthymia” located beneath the Grand Narukami Shrine, where you can challenge the boss in earnest.

Characters To Use Against Magatsu Mitake Narukami No Mikoto

Because Raiden Shogun’s attacks are fast and powerful, it’s crucial to bring characters that emphasize survivability. Even veteran Genshin Impact players might find dodging every attack to be a challenge, so including a character who can provide shields can be advantageous.

While in Musou Isshin Stance, Raiden will unleash illusions and charge up for devastating AoE lightning strikes. Running to the edge of the arena can help evade her most dangerous moves. In Engulfing Lightning Stance, she summons Magatsu Electroculi that must be destroyed to avoid a massive Electro blast.

Keep an eye on her Ominous Destiny meter under her health bar; when it’s filled, she transforms into her even deadlier Baleful Shadowlord form. In this state, not only do her attacks become incredibly powerful, but she also regenerates health, making this the most challenging segment of the fight.
