Completing Zen Eggs and Solving Pet Hatching in Grow A Garden

The latest Zen Event in Roblox’s Grow a Garden introduces seven new pets—six of which can be found in Zen Eggs, while one is available for purchase. These pets feature a delightful Japanese theme, making them perfect additions to your garden.

As with all pets in Grow a Garden, each one comes with a unique passive ability that can benefit your garden. Here’s a quick guide on how to obtain Zen Eggs and details about the new pets featured in this event.

How to Obtain Zen Eggs

There are two methods to get Zen Eggs:

Buy from the Zen Shop tanuki NPC located in the center of the map for either 30 Chi or 149 Robux.
Receive as a possible reward each time you grow the Zen Channeller’s tree.

All Zen Event Pets and Their Traits

There are a total of seven Zen pets, with six hatching from Zen Eggs. You can buy the last one from the Zen Shop.

We haven’t unlocked all the new Zen pets yet, so some of this information comes from community sources. We’ll update this if we discover more accurate details.

Zen Egg Pets

Pet:	Shiba Inu	Odds:	40%
Trait: Every 58.96 seconds, there’s a 15.05% chance to dig up a random seed.
Pet:	Nihonzaru	Odds:	32%
Trait: If you have a Hot Spring cosmetic (available at the Zen Shop), it will periodically bathe in it and enhance the passives of other pets slightly.
Pet:	Tanuki	Odds:	20%
Trait: Inflicts mischief in other players’ gardens.
Pet:	Tanchozuru	Odds:	4.4%
Trait: Every 10.25 meters, this pet will meditate for 10.13 seconds, giving nearby fruits a 5.06% chance of receiving the Tranquil Mutation.
Pet:	Kappa	Odds:	3.5%
Trait: Every 8.02 seconds, it sprays water on fruits within a 25.35 stud radius, applying the Wet Mutation. There’s a 10.14% chance that if the fruit already has a Wet Mutation, it will replace it with the Bloodlit Mutation.
Pet:	Kitsune	Odds:	0.08%
Trait: Periodically visits another player’s garden to mutate one of their fruits with either Chakra or Foxfire Chakra, then duplicates it and gives it back to you.
