With so many Dateables in Date Everything, you don’t have to stick with just one. This is especially fun since some characters interact with your house in surprising ways, giving you access to parts of your space you might not have known existed.
One intriguing option is Bobby Pinn, a bobby pin turned aspiring criminal mastermind. Despite their small size, Bobby proves to be quite the elusive character, often hiding around your home. Their antics could also lead you to discover even more Dateables, making Bobby a character you won’t want to overlook.
Where to Meet Bobby
Being just a tiny bobby pin, Bobby Pinn might be easy to overlook. You could easily stare right at them without realizing they’re there, especially depending on where they’re hiding.
Your first chance to discover Bobby is in the utility room near the kitchen downstairs. In this space, there’s a small closet with a vacuum named Hoove and some boxes. Right on the floor next to Hoove, you’ll find Bobby, who transforms into your charming companion once you wake them up.
Bobby is quick-witted and full of action—though they don’t always think ahead.
Finding Bobby’s Hiding Spots
Once you finish your first chat with Bobby, they’ll move from their spot beside Hoove. In fact, this happens almost every time you talk to them. Bobby enjoys exploring and finding new places to accommodate their criminal ambitions, hoping to build an empire. You’ll just need to track them down again.
Here’s a list of the areas where you can find Bobby and snippets of conversations you’ll have along the way.
You can also check Bobby’s entry in the Date-a-Dex for hints about their next hiding spot.
Location #1 – A Place That Gets You Clean
After your first conversation, Bobby will mention they’re moving to a place known for dirty deeds but also for getting clean. You might think of a bathroom, as it’s a logical place to freshen up. However, Bobby has set their sights a bit lower.
They actually stay in the utility room but have moved from the closet to the sink in the corner. Approach them for another chat.
This sink is also a great spot to meet Sinclaire, if you haven’t yet.
Bobby will then share some amusing schemes about literal money laundering—like washing clothes and pocketing the cash. However, you point out that your clothes aren’t exactly a goldmine. Nor are they a great source of income.
Feeling let down by this reality check, Bobby rushes off to a new hideout, agreeing to come up with a better plan elsewhere.
Location #2 – A Legitimate Businesspin
Before leaving, Bobby will declare themselves a legitimate businesspin and mention being in a spot where real business takes place. There aren’t many areas at home that fit, so head to your home office.
Bobby is easy to spot, sitting right on your desk near a pile of papers. Engage with them again to hear their latest get-rich-quick idea. This time, they propose a money-lending scheme that promises high returns, except it just keeps reinvesting the money to skim profits.
You will also meet Willi here, who appears through your Workspace app on your phone.
You inform Bobby this is a Ponzi scheme, and it wouldn’t work given how few visitors you have. Disappointed but undeterred, Bobby heads off to find yet another scheme.
Location #3 – Scary! Darkness!
Bobby now hints they’re hiding in a dark and scary place. They also mention it might be locked—indeed, they’re talking about the attic, which requires a Skeleton Key to access. You’ll meet another Dateable, Keith, in the crawlspace, accessible by moving the carpet in the boiler room and opening the trapdoor.
Once you finally reach the attic, you’ll find Bobby lounging on top of a safe. Approaching them sparks a conversation with Bobby, Sophia, and Monique. Bobby seems intimidated and has trouble speaking. Bobby asks you to help them come up with a new idea before scurrying off to their next location.
Sophia is the safe Bobby was referring to, while Monique is the money inside. You’ll need to finish your storyline with Sophia to interact with them.
Location #4 – A Den Of Sin And Pleasure
In a rush to get away from Sophia, Bobby mentions they’ll be going to a den filled with both sin and rest. The most likely place they’re hinting at is your bedroom.
Sure enough, you’ll find Bobby on your bedside table, right above where you keep Ben-Hwa. Interact to see them looking a bit dejected, feeling worn out from their ambition. Bobby expresses that their loving family has made their endeavors feel unappreciated, since they don’t face criticism whether they win or lose.
Encouraged by your conversation, they set off to search for a new sense of purpose.
Location #5 – Extreme Temperatures
This time, Bobby indicates they can be found in a location filled with hard work and extreme temperatures. Initially, you might think of the boiler room, but they’re actually hiding in the kitchen, right next to the coffee machine.
Chatting with Bobby here reveals their growing frustration with their ambitions. They feel all this time spent away from home has been wasted. This is your chance to show Bobby their true potential by helping open the locked cabinet nearby.
And voilà! They successfully open it, leading to the appearance of Ronaldini, who offers Bobby a spot in their circus for their remarkable talents. At this point, you’ll conclude your storyline with Bobby.
From now on, Bobby will stay in the kitchen by the coffee machine.
How to Achieve Each Ending with Bobby
Like other Dateables in the game, Bobby has three potential endings. Typically, their dialogue flows naturally until the very end, meaning you need to make thoughtful choices throughout rather than hope for a final twist.
Love
Getting Bobby to love you is simple. Just be kind to them. While you don’t need to excessively praise their entrepreneurial schemes, lend them support. Guide them away from trouble and toward pursuits that match their skills. And of course, flirt! Bobby enjoys a bit of romance. Remain by their side and always believe in their abilities, even if they aren’t meant for criminal acts.
Friends
Building a friendship with Bobby is similar to crafting a romantic relationship. If you reach a romantic point, you can opt for friendship instead. Think of it as criminal partners in crime! Avoid harsh criticism, and if you occasionally overlook their schemes, you’re likely to foster a friendship. Essentially, don’t be mean, and friendship will follow.
Hate
A “hate” ending feels harsh for Bobby, who’s just trying to carve out their path. However, if you prefer a route of negativity, feel free to make unkind choices continuously. Bobby’s journey continues until they decide to end things, realizing you haven’t been any support.
No matter which ending you achieve, you’ll still be able to meet Ronaldini, allowing you to be honest with Bobby about your feelings.
