Pokémon Go is currently testing a new feature called the Go Pass, available to players in select regions. This feature is akin to a traditional battle pass, where players complete various missions to move along the reward track.

The Go Pass is set to return this month, May 2025, exclusively for players in certain areas around the globe. Below, you’ll find all the details regarding the May 2025 Go Pass, including what to expect and the available rewards for those who can access it.

The Go Pass Explained

The Go Pass is a new feature Pokémon Go has been trialing for a few months, giving players in certain regions the opportunity to try it out before a wider release. This May, the pass will come back with added features and tweaks to further assess this new option.

The Go Pass will operate like a standard battle pass, requiring you to earn Go Points to raise your Go Pass rank. To gain Go Points, you must complete specific in-game tasks, referred to as Pass Tasks, each awarding a fixed number of points upon completion.

This month, players with the Go Pass may notice minor differences in rewards from one player to another, as Pokémon Go continues to refine this feature prior to its global launch.

This month, eligible players will gain access to the Go Pass on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.

Once you have it, you can progress through the pass and claim rewards until Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

The Go Pass Deluxe

This month, a new tier will be tested: the Go Pass Deluxe. While the standard Go Pass is free, the Go Pass Deluxe will require payment.

Upgrading to this version will grant enhanced rewards and faster progression. You can purchase the upgrade at any time, allowing you to claim all rewards from the Go Pass Deluxe, even if you’ve already completed the tier.
