Using fertilizer can significantly enhance the quality of your plants, leading to better products. Offering attractive free samples gives you a higher chance of drawing in new customers and opens up additional opportunities and connections as you expand.

How to Acquire Fertilizer

You can obtain fertilizers from hardware stores, which also offer other gardening supplies. Each bottle of fertilizer costs $30. To fertilize every plant you own, you will need one bottle for each pot. Remember, your inventory can hold up to 20 bottles at a time.

There are two hardware stores featured in the game. Dan’s Hardware is a good choice for early gameplay since it’s conveniently located near the motel and the Chinese restaurant. Once you reach the barn area, Handy Hank’s Hardware is closer.

If you’re under curfew and can’t reach a store, you can always order fertilizer through the Deliveries app on your phone. Soon, a delivery truck will arrive at your home, and you can pick up your order.

How to Apply Fertilizer

To use the fertilizer, select it from your inventory and then interact with any plant pot. A bottle will be displayed above the pot, and you can tilt it to pour the fertilizer.

Be sure to rotate the bottle around the pot to ensure that the soil gets evenly fertilized.

A coverage percentage bar will indicate how well you’ve applied the fertilizer. Once you’re finished, the empty bottle will drop to the ground, where you can dispose of it in the trash.
