While that’s a philosophical discussion for another day, Timothy Timepiece certainly considers himself to embody the very essence of time—even if he looks like a charming cat clock. Trying to win over time isn’t straightforward.

Who Is Timothy Timepiece?

Timothy Timepiece is, in essence, two characters combined. He represents the idea of time and is fixated on that role. At the same time, he takes the form of an adorable clock, styled like the cats you might have in your home. An interesting choice, indeed.

When you meet him under favorable circumstances, you’ll encounter the delightful and quirky Timothy Timepiece. However, if you happen to meet him outside the designated times, you’ll be faced with Timmy, a much less welcoming feline.

No matter which version of Timothy you encounter, he’s easy to find. You can connect with him by interacting with any of the clocks scattered around your home. They’re located in virtually every room, so he should always be within reach.

Each clock also shows the actual in-game time, so you won’t have to guess when to meet Timothy.

Meeting Times with Timothy

After your initial encounter with Timothy, he will emphasize that you need an appointment to see him. Time waits for no one, even the one who resides in your home. He will specify a time for your next meet-up, which will increase with each encounter. Here’s how it lays out:

12 AM Meeting

Your first real meeting with Timothy comes with a quiz about the basics of time and dating. Emphasize that time is crucial and choose the flirty responses when possible, including telling him you came just to see him. At the end, he’ll ask what you learned. Select ‘Timeliness.’

3 PM Meeting

During your second encounter, Timothy will provide another lesson in time management. Again, opt for flirty responses, but avoid indicating any rush. You have a schedule to respect, after all. When asked what you learned today, choose ‘Scheduling.’

9 PM Meeting

Your third meeting takes a more personal turn as you spend the evening with him while he cares for your watch. If you’ve been respectful and attentive up until now, he’ll allow you to handle and polish his precious timepieces. Be gentle and return them if you want a happy ending. Forming a friendship or romantic relationship is straightforward, but requires careful navigation. On the flip side, making him dislike you involves a few specific actions. Let’s explore each ending:

Love

Winning over Timothy’s affection isn’t difficult—just pay attention to him. Show up at the designated times he gives, and listen to his lessons about time’s significance. Smacking him if he strays from the timeline on a date might oddly appeal to him. Think deeply about time, and you’ll soon find that he loves you.

If you prefer Timmy’s affection, simply support him. This doesn’t require disparaging Timothy; just acknowledge that both have their merits as a whole. Cat. Clock. You understand.

Friends

Building a friendship with Timothy closely mirrors the path to love. In fact, you can make the same choices as you would for the love ending and choose friendship instead at the end. Alternatively, you can maintain a respectful demeanor while avoiding flirty responses.

Keep in mind that Timothy is very time-conscious, and if you meet him at the wrong time or answer incorrectly, it will negatively affect his impression of you. Even if you choose flirty remarks, failing to respect time could keep him viewing you as a friend.
