Completing the Through the Cracks Quest in Tainted Grail: Avalon

As you journey through the various regions of Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, you’ll meet many characters who are eager to interact with you. Most of them are in urgent need of assistance and will likely assign you a quest.

The good news is that you won’t be helping them out of pure goodwill. Along with the experience points you’ll earn, many of these characters will reward you with powerful gear, new weapons, spells, or tools that will give you an edge in battle.

How to Begin the “Through the Cracks” Quest

Once you reach Cuanacht, the second region of the game, head over to Craftsmen’s Row. Here, you’ll find a shopkeeper named Sine.

If you ask her about available jobs, she’ll explain that she’s been missing supplies and needs you to investigate the cause.

This will kick off the “Through the Cracks” quest. Your first task is to check Sine’s warehouse for clues, which is located nearby.

However, before entering the warehouse, make sure to light a bonfire and wait until midnight. Once it strikes, head inside. You’ll discover a strange portal awaiting you.

How to Complete the “Through the Cracks” Quest

Stepping through the portal will take you to an unusual location. As you move forward, you’ll meet a soldier named Percy, whom Sine mentioned. He’ll explain that he’s trapped and needs your help.

After your conversation, you’ll need to find a way out. Walk past Percy and take the wooden stairs up. Once you reach the top, look to your right to find a device you can interact with to open a door.

After you pass through, defeat the enemies on the other side, then take the left path where you’ll need to activate another device to create a bridge over to the next area.

As you approach a peculiar orange object, a mysterious figure will try to stop you from escaping, triggering a boss battle against Gaelic Tarian.

Once you’ve defeated him, touch the orange object to return to the real world, freeing Percy in the process.

Your final task is to go back and inform Sine about what transpired. For your efforts, you’ll receive experience points and the Mystic Ward magic weapon as a reward.
