Completing the Search for Every Mine in Death Stranding 2

Gathering resources is an essential aspect of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. These resources allow you to construct buildings, renovate facilities, and upgrade your gear. Unlike the first game, you’ll have fewer chances to stumble upon lost items while exploring. This highlights the importance of the mines scattered across the map.

While adventuring in Australia, you can discover eight different mines in Death Stranding 2. Delivering Chiral Crystals to these mines grants you various materials. Most mines are hidden and may be overlooked, so here’s a guide to their locations.

Smoke Hill Mine Location

The first mine can be found on the western side of Australia, specifically northeast of the Government’s Base and a nearby enemy camp.

Mine North Of F1 Location

This mine is situated in the northwestern region of Australia, northeast of West Fort Knot and northwest of Rainbow Valley.

Twin Valley Mine Location

In northern Australia, you’ll find this mine inside an enemy camp, north of The Architect and east of the F2 South Distribution Center. The mine is located towards the eastern end of the camp, near a control tower.

Mine North Of Tar Lake Location

To obtain Ceramics, you need to restore the Mine North of Tar Lake. It’s located south of The Architect, east of the Northern Environmental Observatory, and northeast of The Metagenomicist (the monorail from this mine will be close to this terminal).

Mine Near F3 Crater Location

Try to restore this mine once you meet The Dowser during the quest (Main Order 21). It’s located northeast of this terminal and east of F3 Crater in northern Australia.

Northeastern Mine Location

Head north from The Motherhood in northeastern Australia, almost reaching the land’s edge.

Savanna Mine Location

To the south of The Motherhood and northwest of East Fort Knot, you’ll discover a small island. The mine is located near the center of this area.

Mine North Of F6 Location

On the eastern part of Australia, find the optional prepper known as The Tar Therapist. Just south of his terminal is where you’ll encounter the final mine in Death Stranding 2.
