Traits can significantly alter a unit’s performance during battles by enhancing aspects like range, damage, speed, or even the gold you earn. If you’re aiming for the best builds, preparing for many rerolls is crucial.

This guide will outline what rerolls are, how to utilize them, and where to adjust your character’s attributes and abilities. Additionally, you’ll discover various methods to earn free rerolls without needing to spend Robux.

How to Reroll Traits

Using Trait Rerolls lets you assign powerful bonuses to any unit through the NPC Mandra. You can find Mandra in the Upgrades area, alongside other characters like Kokashi and Cyan. Each reroll gives you a chance of gaining a new trait, with some being quite common while others are very rare. Traits are randomly assigned and take effect immediately after you use the reroll.

To reroll a trait, you’ll need to use Trait Reroll tokens. If you’re hunting for top-notch traits like Deadeye, Ethereal, or Monarch, you’ll want a good supply. Fortunately, there are several ways to earn Trait Rerolls for free. Here’s how you can collect them:

Complete challenges – Finish tasks listed in the Challenge menu for a nice stash of Trait Rerolls. There are three challenge types—regular, daily, and weekly—so try to complete as many as you can to maximize your returns.
Shop purchases – You can buy Trait Rerolls at various in-game stores, such as the Winter Shop, Dungeon Shop, Boss Event Shop, or Raid Shop. Each shop accepts a different currency you can earn through various activities.
Worldlines rewards – In the Worldlines mode, which offers endless floors to conquer, you’ll earn Trait Rerolls as rewards once you hit specific floor milestones.
Boss bounties – By speaking to the NPC Okabu, you can access a list of requests to defeat certain bosses. Successful completions will reward you with Trait Rerolls.
Achievements – Completing various achievements will occasionally grant you Trait Rerolls among other prizes.

For faster farming, try to mix and combine these methods whenever possible.

How to Reroll Stats

The player character shows the Stat Reroll tab in the Upgrades area in Anime Vanguards.

In addition to traits, you can also adjust your unit’s stats. To accomplish this, locate and interact with the NPC Cyan. Cyan is in the same area as Mandra, making her easy to find. After speaking with her, a menu will appear where you can reroll three specific stats:

Attack – Refers to the damage output of the unit.
Range – Determines the distance from which the character can attack.
SPA – Indicates the frequency of the unit’s attacks.

Unlike traits, there are two types of items you can use to reroll stats:

Stat Chips – Required for rerolling all stats.
Super Stat Chips – Needed for rerolling a specific stat.

You can efficiently farm both Stat Chips and Super Stat Chips using the same methods as for Trait Rerolls. Staying active and completing a range of tasks will help you accumulate these items.
