Herbil may be small and cute, but don’t underestimate it! This little Pal packs a punch and prefers to tackle challenges head-on. According to its Palpedia, if your heart stops, Herbil can literally punch it back to life!

This delightful Pal was introduced in the Tides of Terraria update for Palworld, and that heart-punching ability is no joke—it can actually revive you if you go down. If you’re on the hunt for a charming yet handy Pal, this guide will help you find Herbil easily.

Where to Find Herbil

Herbil is a Grass and Neutral-type Pal. To spot one, head away from the larger islands, as it’s located on three smaller islets introduced in the Tides of Terraria update.

To access these islets, you’ll need a flying or swimming mount.

Your first chance to find Herbil is on Sunlit Isle at coordinates 386, -462. Start at the Marsh Island fast travel point, located south of Marsh Island, and head southwest across the sea. This area has low-level Herbils (levels one to ten) along the shores and throughout the island.

Another spot to discover Herbil is Eternal Summer Isle, found at -430, -816. The easiest access is by moving southeast from the Fisherman’s Point fast travel point south of Mount Obsidian. Here, you’ll find stronger Herbils, ranging from levels 34-37, along with aggressive Pals that could pose a challenge.

Your third option is Oasis Isle, located at 904, 191, east of the Dessicated Desert. To reach it, travel southeast from the PIDF Tower Entrance fast travel point, then move toward the peninsula on the eastern coast of the desert and head east over the water.

After a short sea trip, you’ll reach the island, where you’ll find high-level Herbils (levels 41–47), making it a great spot for those looking for stronger options.

Herbils are generally non-aggressive and will run away when approached. As Neutral and Grass types, they are weak against Dark and Fire-type Pals, so consider bringing those for an edge.

How to Breed Herbil

If you can’t find Herbil in the wild, you can also hatch one from a Verdant Egg. These eggs can be found in the wild or produced at a Breeding Farm by pairing the right Pal parents.

Items Dropped by Herbil

While Herbil isn’t known for dropping valuable items, it can yield Leather and Red Berries when captured or defeated. However, collecting leather is easier from common, low-level Pals on the main islands. Red Berries are not very nutritious, and targeting options like Cattiva would be more beneficial for gathering.

Partner Skill & Work Suitability

Herbil’s partner skill, Herbil Pulse, is very handy. It automatically revives you when you’re incapacitated, making it invaluable in tense moments and during bosses or raids. However, be aware that the skill has a lengthy cooldown.
