In Palworld, a significant part of your adventure revolves around collecting resources, exploring expansive landscapes, and facing bosses alone, which can become a bit repetitive. Thankfully, the game features pals that you can capture to assist you, allowing you to focus on your exploration and battles.
The developers are committed to enhancing the game by frequently launching new updates that add fresh content like pals, equipment, and new locations. The most recent update increased the variety of pals available, with Turtacle being one of the newest members.
Where to Find Turtacle
Turtacle is a new pal introduced in the Tides of Terraria update. There are two main ways to add this pal to your collection.
The first method is the classic one for capturing pals: you can find it and catch it using a sphere. Look for Turtacle on one of the newly added islands in the game.
This island is known as the Isle of Decayed Treasures, located just east of Eastern Wild Island. You can access it using either a flying or swimming mount.
Near a shipwreck, you will find a few Turtacles you can catch. The process is straightforward: lower their health to improve your capture chances and try to throw the sphere from behind them.

If you need Pal Fluids or Bones, defeating Turtacle may yield a chance to collect them.
The second method involves fishing for Turtacle, but you first need to understand the fishing mechanics in the game.
Once you’re ready, you can find Turtacle in various fishing spots around the central forest biome, including Verdant Brook, Eastern Wild Island, Marsh Island, Windswept Hills, and Bamboo Groves.
At these locations, approach the water’s edge to spot the shadows of the pal. Grab your fishing rod, cast your bait, and wait patiently.
You might not catch Turtacle on your first attempt, but persistence will pay off.
Turtacle is a Water-type pal that you can keep as a companion or assign to your base. If you choose to keep it as a companion, Turtacle is beneficial as it reduces the weight of armor in your inventory, making it easier to carry supplies. However, it’s not very effective in combat, so it’s best suited for secondary slots.
If you decide to assign it to your base, it excels in Level 2 Watering and has Level 1 abilities in both Mining and Transporting.
