Rescuing Avalon from the Wyrdness is a challenging task, and you’ll need to prepare well to succeed. While you’re gearing up, take part in side quests for extra rewards, meet new characters, and influence the world around you. Keep in mind that not everyone will appreciate your attempts, but it’s a minor inconvenience in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon.
Locating Morrigan’s Hollow
To begin the “Hold Her Head High” quest, you’ll need to rejoin Luth outside Morrigan’s Hollow in Cuanacht. Head to the city and then travel south to the Petrified Village waypoint.
Watch out for monsters in the area, especially during the night!
You’ll find Luth perched on the cliffs, where he will hand you the key to access the Crow’s hideout. Once inside, talk to Self to receive your next mission now that you’ve earned the title of Fledgling.
It appears that a seer has perished, and he was holding Morrigan’s Head. It’s crucial that you retrieve it and cleanse it of any who have touched it.
Finding the Missing Seer
The seer was secluded in a cave north of town, nestled between the Abyss of Sagremor and an abandoned village further north. Make your way there and enter the hidden cave.
Inside, the area is clear of enemies and peaceful. However, the seer’s camp is in chaos. Move into the next chamber to discover his body wedged among the rocks.
It’s easy to overlook, so you might need to walk around the cave a couple of times.
Once you discover the body, feel free to take any available gear. However, the most important item to retrieve is Morrigan’s Head.
Defeating the Banshee
As soon as you grab Morrigan’s Head, the trap is set. To protect the artifact, a Banshee appears in the cave and starts summoning creatures to hinder your progress.
Disregard the summoned creatures; they’re weak and will vanish once the Banshee is defeated.
The Banshee doesn’t differentiate between allies and enemies; its sole purpose is to keep Morrigan’s Head from falling into the wrong hands. Fortunately, the cave is spacious, allowing for a free range of combat tactics.
If you’re having difficulty, try cornering the Banshee against the rocks!
Use your strongest skills to defeat the Banshee and collect the remains. Return to Self with Morrigan’s head to finish your quest and solidify your status as one of the Crow’s Fledglings.
