Completing the Quest: Solving Rare Vehicle Locations in the Precinct

As a rookie officer, your primary ride around the bustling city of Averno in The Precinct will be a squad car. However, Averno is home to a variety of vehicles beyond those sanctioned by the Averno City Police Department. By utilizing the Commandeer perk, you’ll have the opportunity to drive many different automobiles throughout the city.

Some vehicles are particularly rare and challenging to locate, as they are hidden away in various streets and alleys. We’ll guide you in finding each one so you can cruise through Averno City with flair.

Finding The Patriot

The Patriot is likely the first rare car you’ll encounter, since it’s located near the precinct. Just head south to Portalo Hill, then take a left into a parking lot. You’ll find the vehicle under some metal sheets in a shed-like structure attached to a brownstone.

Finding Midnight Inferno

To spot this car, head over to the subway station at Slipwater Yard, just south of Smugglers’ Cove. The vehicle is normally hidden in an alley near a timed trial flare. Just jump the fence to discover it buried behind some boxes and metal scraps.

Finding FrostFire

Your next target is in the Romana South district of Averno. You’ll find FrostFire, a white and red-striped vehicle, in a similar shed-like covering. Hop in and take it for a spin but don’t forget to grab your partner!

Finding The Fugitive

From there, head to Richbury South. In the middle of the buildings next to a dumpster, you can claim this car, which is hidden under a metal awning. Its bright red color makes it hard to overlook!

Finding Emerald Strike

Next, make your way over to South Shore on the western side, just south of Springwood. Look for the green vehicle located at the end of the docks, right by the water. Just make sure not to drive it into the water!

This car is easy to miss, as it’s hidden in the Shermer Court district. Take Electric Avenue, then turn left towards Westview Bay. Go around the back of the salvage shop to uncover the vehicle tucked beneath an awning.

Finding Extra Woodie

The Extra Woodie can be found near Carver Port, but not in the main area. Travel west of Warhurst to the docks, then follow the path down to the water. You’ll spot the car tucked under a rickety awning.

Finding Red 77

Next, head north to the Dutch Exchange, then proceed west from the Ocean Strip to the corner of the map. The red and white car is located at the very end of Electric Avenue.

Finding Gran Detroit Turbo

By the water, there’s another hidden vehicle. Make your way to Little Italy, then follow the slope down to the water. Under a metal awning, behind brick columns, you’ll find the green Gran Detroit Turbo.

Finding Stampede

Lastly, past the Bayside Strip and The Colosseum, you can pick up the Stampede. As you approach the subway station, go north into the center of the Sunnyside district.

After you’ve located all ten vehicles, you’ll unlock the Hidden in the Hood achievement. While you can’t keep these cars at the precinct, you’re free to drive them whenever you’re on duty.

These vehicles often offer better speed and handling, making them great for navigating street challenges. Test them out to discover your favorite, then mark it on your map for quick access during your patrols.

Additionally, while it’s not categorized as a rare vehicle, you can also take the police chief’s ride for a spin. Simply exit through the back door of the precinct and grab the shiny orange car from the chief’s designated parking spot.
