The recent Tides of Terraria update has brought some thrilling additions to Palworld, including a Terraria-themed dungeon and recognizable creatures from the game. Notably, there’s a new fishing system that allows you to catch Pals without using spheres. To start fishing, you’ll want to check out specific fishing spots around Palpagos Island and remember to bring some bait.
Once you’re all set, it’s time to cast your line and try to catch some of the exciting new Pals introduced in this update. If you’re on the hunt for Jelliette, the jellyfish-like Water Pal, this guide will help you locate it.
Where To Find Jelliette
Jelliette is a charming Water-type Pal that has a jellyfish appearance, closely resembling Jellroy. You can find it at several locations, mostly at fishing spots. If you’re looking for a direct encounter, head to Frostbitten Isle, located at coordinates -81, -968.
To get to this island, start from the ‘Sea Breeze Archipelago – Castaway Beach’ fast travel point and head south across the water. If Jelliette doesn’t spawn right away, try leaving the area and returning. The Jelliette here are typically between levels ten and twenty and are non-aggressive, so they will swim away upon noticing you.
Since Jelliette is a Water-type, using Electric-type Pals against them will be especially effective.
In addition to Frostbitten Isle, you can also catch Jelliette while fishing at various spots, even if they aren’t visibly present. The best areas to fish for Jelliette include:
- Southern and western coasts of Windswept Hills
- Southern coasts of Sea Breeze Archipelago
- Southern and western coasts of Marsh Island
- Northern and eastern coasts of Eastern Wild Island
- Northern coasts of Moonless Shore
- Northern western coasts of Bamboo Grooves
- Northeastern coasts of Twilight Dunes
- All coasts of Forgotten Island
- Northern and western coasts of Ice Wind Island
How To Breed Jelliette
Another way to obtain Jelliette is by hatching a Damp Egg. You can find these eggs in the wild or create them at the
Breeding Farm by pairing specific Pals together.
Items Dropped By Jelliette
Catching or defeating Jelliette yields two useful items:
Pal Fluids and Jelliette Bell Flesh. While Pal Fluids can be gathered from various low-level Water-type Pals, Jelliette isn’t the best choice for farming them. Jelliette Bell Flesh is a consumable item providing a nutrition value of 37 and can be used in the cooking pot to make Jelliette’s Jiggly Jelly. The recipe requires:

Jelliette’s Jiggly Jelly provides 64 nutrition, temporarily boosts EXP gain, and increases attack power by 10%.
Partner Skill & Work Suitability
Jelliette possesses a partner skill called Jelliette Drop, which boosts the number of items you receive while fishing if Jelliette is in your party. Additionally, when both Jelliette and Jellroy are stationed at your base, Jelliette’s watering speed increases.
While Jelliette’s effectiveness in work roles isn’t particularly high, it can make a strong early-game pair with Jellroy. However, as you advance, it would be smart to switch to Pals with better watering capabilities and versatile base skills. Jelliette’s work suitability is as follows:

Passive Skills
If Jelliette is stationed at your base, the most effective passive skill is Remarkable Craftsmanship for enhancing work efficiency. If that’s not available, Artisan is a solid backup. For battle, Lunker is the top passive skill to increase Jelliette’s Water attack damage.
