Palworld recently added a delightful range of Pals in the Tides of Terraria update. Among these, Gloopie stands out as incredibly charming and cuddly. However, tracking down these cute Pals can be a bit of a challenge, especially with new islands to explore.
Gloopie can become a delightful part of your team or base and will even lend a hand when you’re fishing. Fortunately, locating Gloopie isn’t too hard, especially at night when you can find it in groups in certain areas. If you manage to catch one and incorporate it into your party, its Partner Skill will prove to be quite beneficial.
Where to Find and Catch Gloopie
The best known location to encounter Gloopie, both day and night, is the Isle of Decayed Treasures. This island is located east of the Eastern Wild Island. There, you can find several Gloopies around Levels 19 to 20, and catching them is fairly easy if you use a Giga Sphere or better.
Gloopie is a Water-Dark element Pal. Thus, utilizing Dragon or Electric element Pals can make defeating or capturing Gloopie a lot simpler.

At night, you can find this charming Pal along the shores of the Eternal Pyre and in the Moonflower region. If you’ve unlocked the Fisherman’s Point fast travel node, Gloopie can also be found nearby at night.
Partner Skill and Work Suitability

Gloopie’s Partner Skill, Sticky Princess, reduces the capture gauge’s decrease rate when the fish isn’t within the bar during the fishing mini-game. This makes capturing stronger Pals significantly easier.
To benefit from Gloopie’s Partner Skill, you’ll need to bring it out onto the field from its Pal Sphere.
Moreover, Gloopie can serve as a great addition to your base, particularly during the early to mid-game phases, as it possesses several useful work skills at Level 2.
