Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is packed with mysteries and areas to discover. One of the most intriguing locations is Cuanacht, which conceals some fascinating secrets. The biggest surprise in Cuanacht is the hidden merchant known as Black Annis.

Black Annis stands out from other merchants because she sells exclusive items that permanently boost your attributes by one point. This means you can enhance your character on the fly without using your Bonfire. Given the high price of her items, this unique benefit makes them worth the cost.

How to Locate Black Annis

Black Annis is a secret merchant in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, and she’s quite hard to stumble upon by chance since she only appears at night.

Nighttime also attracts the Wyrd, including the formidable Wyrdstalker, making it challenging to wander around safely for too long. You’ll find Annis in the northwestern part of Cuanacht, tucked away in a swamp west of the Swamp Crypt. Once night falls, make your way to this location and search the swamp for Annis.

It’s not advisable to arrive at the area and then wait for night since this might prevent Annis from appearing.

The best strategy to ensure Annis shows up is to travel to the swamp area after it gets dark.

Annis usually appears around 1:00 am.

When the time is right, fast travel to the Corrupted Temple waypoint and walk along the southeastern shore until you see Black Annis beside the swamp.

Upon meeting Annis, you’ll notice her peculiar way of speaking, as she talks in reverse. Engage with her to learn how to acquire a unique mount called Kelpie.
