In the latest update of Infinity Nikki, the Serenity Isles were introduced, bringing with them a new collectible called Whim Bubbles, similar to the Whim Stars you’ll remember from Miraland. You can discover many of these Whim Bubbles throughout the Serenity Islands.

By trading these collectibles with Pouchy the Piecey at the Soakville entrance, you’ll be rewarded with a variety of items, including new bubble shapes, Diamonds, and Blings. There are a total of 41 Whim Bubbles to collect on Serenity Island, so get ready for an enjoyable challenge!

Make sure to search every cavern in the Serenity Island area for Whim Bubbles, as you need to gather all 41 to complete your collection. The ones we’ve highlighted in our guide are found outside the caverns and may require more precise navigation.

What Are Whim Bubbles?

How Do You Get Whim Bubbles?

There’s a lot to discover in the Sea of Stars, and the latest update brings plenty of new content to the story featuring the Pieceys. This update is especially appealing to solo players seeking to dive into the gameplay without the need for co-op features.

The Serenity Island area consists of three main islands along with some smaller nearby ones. As you progress through the main storyline, keep an ear out for Momo’s notifications indicating nearby collectibles, similar to what he does for Whim Stars and Whim Balloons in past regions.

In Serenity Island, you’ll be tasked with collecting Whim Bubbles, the new collectible for this area. They require you to solve puzzles, navigate platforms, and utilize Nikki’s abilities to find all 41 Whim Bubbles scattered throughout the area. Some will be easy to find as you follow the storyline, while others might take some extra effort.

What Do You Do With Whim Bubbles?

After collecting a few Whim Bubbles, head back to the Soakville Entrance, where you first entered using the Warp Spire. Pouchy, who is located near the statue just beyond the fence (where you can also find a Whim Bubble), is waiting to make a trade.

This charming Piecey is your main contact for exchanging Whim Bubbles and Serenity Dewdrops for various rewards. As you collect Serenity Dewdrops while purifying them around the island, you can trade in Whim Bubbles to receive items such as:

  • Bubblets, a fun accessory that lets you generate bubbles of different shapes and colors for your pictures.
  • In-game currencies such as Diamonds and Blings, which are always handy!
  • Dyeing materials for introducing new color options to your favorite outfits.

Whenever you have enough Whim Bubbles, be sure to stop by and trade them with Pouchy for exciting rewards. Once you’ve gathered all 41 Whim Bubbles around Serenity Island, you’ll have enough to completely clear out Pouchy’s store.

All Soakville Island Whim Balloons

The first area you’ll explore on Serenity Island is Soakville, the smallest of the main islands. Here, you’ll find various story elements, collectibles to gather, and even Pouchy at the lowest level.

First Level

On the west side of the lower level, there’s a Whim Bubble tied to a platforming puzzle. You’ll need to collect pieces within a time limit to unlock the final Whim Bubble.

Across the sandy pathway, there’s a small Stonetree guarded by enemies. Defeat them to unlock a chest containing 30 Diamonds. Climb the tree and groom the critter on top to receive a Whim Bubble.

Just above the bathing area on the southern part of the island, break a box to release a Whim Bubble you’ll have to chase across the beach.

Atop the statue behind Pouchy, use nearby platforms to reach it.

Second Level

From the top of the Stonetree, use Momo’s vision to locate a Curio Domain on the middle layer, then float down to complete the puzzle.

Third Level

Behind the Guardian’s statue, there’s a leaf jump pad. Use it to get on the Guardian’s hat, where you’ll find a Whim Butterfly flying nearby. Catch it using your Bug Catching outfit!

Facing the tall Stonetree towards the southwest, you’ll see a group of Esselings to defeat. The Whim Bubble is in a chest that opens after defeating them all.

From the top level of the Stonetree in Soakville, jump down to the north side platforms, where you’ll find the Bubble on the underside of one. Just be careful, as you’ll land near a group of Esselings!

All Soakville Outskirts And Old Ruins Whim Balloons

As you continue to explore the Serenity Island map alongside the story from the 1.5 version update, you’ll find the Soakville Outskirts to the north and the Old Ruins to the south, featuring a new cavern to delve into.

Soakville Outskirts

On the northern deck’s top level of the Stonetree, there’s a trigger for one of the chasing platform Whim Bubbles.

Complete the Curio Domain here to access and collect the Whim Bubble.

A Whimink can be found on a wooden dock looking out towards the previous island. Approach and groom it to collect the Whim Bubble.

Use the Springbloom Enchantment ability to activate the bloom holding the Whim Bubble, then chase it down to claim it.

Defeat the Esselings emerging from the chest here to receive the Whim Bubble as a reward.

A Whimfish swims among the Aromalily Pads on the island’s coast. Use your Fishing outfit to catch it.

Jump from the main island cliffs across the water spouts to an offshore Stonetree where a Whim Bubble awaits at the top.

Old Ruins

Inside a dilapidated home within the ruins, activate a Whim Bubble hunt and capture each one before time runs out to collect the actual Whim Bubble.

Beneath some cracked stones, you can push a middle boulder from above to clear the way and find a Whim Bubble.

After exiting the upper part of Relics Cavern, activate the Warp Spire nearby and navigate the ruins of a house to locate the Whimfly.

Drop down from the left side of the house ruins to reach the Curio Domain and solve it to obtain the Whim Bubble.

All Steamville Stonetree Whim Balloons

Lastly, you’ll explore the grandest Stonetree of all—Steamville Stonetree. Using your Springbloom Enchantment outfit to access the major waterspout will set you on your journey through the surrounding areas.

Echoing Forest

Find this Whim Bubble atop tall trees on the northern side of the lowest layer of this Stonetree. You can either jump from the ground level or float down from a higher plane.

In the Echoing Forest’s ruins, a puzzle will task you with collecting Whim Bubble pieces within a time limit. The real Whim Bubble awaits on a roof nearby.

To the southwest, a smaller Stonetree with a broken bridge leads back to the main island. Completing the Curio Domain here rewards you with a Whim Bubble.

A chest near the Curio Domain’s entrance contains some Diamonds as well!

Drop down from the broken bridge and open the chest below to unleash a few Esselings, which will give you another Whim Bubble when defeated.

On the southern part of the island, nearby the beach, you’ll start a platforming puzzle that leads to a Whim Bubble on top of a ruined building with a chest inside.

Steamville Saltbath Area

Break a box on a lower level of the Stonetree using Momo’s vision (in the western area), then chase down the Whim Bubble. It shows on your map just below the Crystal Salt Main Area Warp Spire’s icon.

Crystal Salt Mine

Climb the rocks next to the Crystal Salt Mine Warp Spire and jump to reach this Whim Flutter to collect your next Whim Bubble.

Off the Main Island

Head to the marked location to fish for a Whim Fish from a lilypad north of the Stonetree.

There’s a small offshoot Stonetree to the southwest connected by a broken bridge (where you previously found a Curio Domain Whim Bubble). Move through the broken bridge to get to the next Stonetree, and drop down to catch the Whim Fish swimming nearby.

From the Nectar Nook Warp Spire, jump across the broken bridge to reach the farthest part of the area where a Whimink awaits for grooming.
