As you venture further into Dune: Awakening, you’ll discover a wide range of resources that you’ll need to locate and gather in large quantities. Some can be found easily, while others are more elusive and require a bit more effort to acquire.
One resource that’s particularly challenging to obtain is Insulated Fabric. It’s not marked on the map in many areas, so you’ll need to embark on a focused hunt to find it, and be ready for some tough battles along the way.
Where to Find Insulated Fabric
If you’re searching for Insulated Fabric, make your way to the north, specifically northwest. It’s not at the very edge of the map but is found in Stonestep Valley, approximately two and a half kilometers west of Griffin’s Reach.
How to Find Stonestep Valley
Stonestep Valley is nestled between rocky formations. More specifically, it lies in a rocky spire close to the larger rock wall that makes up the northeastern boundary of the valley. The entrance is carved into the rock face, making for an intricate location filled with enemies and some challenging parkour elements.
You can find Insulated Fabric in any of the chests scattered throughout this area; it’s likely you’ll come across it multiple times.
During our exploration of Stonestep Valley, we collected just under 40 pieces of Insulated Fabric. Your haul may vary, and you can also expect to find other valuable loot, including unique items often located in the final chest.
