Completing the Quest for Coralum Ingots in Palworld

If you’ve explored Palworld, you know what makes it special. This game offers a fresh take on survival, allowing your pals to assist you in gathering resources, handling tasks at your base, and fighting alongside you. As you advance, collecting materials is essential—whether it’s for upgrading gear, enhancing your character, or constructing improved structures for better functionality.

The latest update introduces an array of new gear and buildings, many of which require a new resource called Coralum Ingots. Not sure how to obtain them? This guide is here to help you through the process.

How to Craft Coralum Ingots

To craft Coralum Ingots, you’ll need three key items:

Unlock the recipe.
Gather the main material necessary for crafting.
Ensure you have the appropriate production structure to do the crafting.

To unlock the Coralum Ingots recipe in the Technology menu, you must level your character to Level 61, after which the recipe will be accessible for unlocking.

The primary material you’ll need is Coralum Ore, which can be obtained in a couple of different ways.

The first method involves hunting a specific pal that drops Coralum Ore: the Whalaska. You can find Whalaska at the Isle of the Glacial Core, located at the very northern part of the map. Alternatively, you can try fishing near the edges of the frozen sections of Feybreak Island.

Upon defeating this pal, it will drop several Coralum Ore, or you can capture it and disable it for the same material.

The second way to obtain Coralum Ore is by using a Powerful Fishing Magnet at one of the rubble sites found across the sea.

The easiest method is to farm the Ore from Whalaska, as it can respawn quickly at the mentioned isle.

Next, you need the production structure that will create the ingot for you. You can’t use just any furnace; you’ll need to set up a Gigantic Furnace at your base. If you haven’t built one yet, unlock the blueprint from the Technology menu at level 56 and gather the required materials: 200 Flame Organ, 20 Ancient Civilization Parts, 100 Polymer, and 150 Plasteel.

Since this advanced structure requires power, ensure you have electricity set up at your base, likely with a power generator already in place.

Approaching the Gigantic Furnace will allow you to craft Coralum Ingots using 5 Coralum Ore, 30 Ore, and 20 Coal. Like other furnaces in the game, don’t forget to assign a Fire-type pal with a Kindling skill to it for the crafting process.
