For a small squirrel, the world is a huge place, and in Squirreled Away, you’re set to experience an unforgettable journey. There’s plenty to accomplish in this vibrant park, and we’ll guide you to make the most of your adventure.

Within the park, you’ll find many other squirrels who need your assistance with different tasks. Whether you’re defending against a scary dog or launching stink bombs at seagulls, there are various ways to tackle these challenges. Let’s dive into what you need to know to help Patty uncover her dinosaur bones in the Forest Nook of the squirrel’s park.

Finding Patty the Archaeologist

To kick off the Bone Breaker quest, you need to get to The Forest Nook by riding Terry the turtle across the water from the first island. When you arrive, follow the path toward the large stone wall. Stop just before reaching the cannon and check the trees for Patty.

You can activate your squirrel vision to spot her location!

Climb the tree and talk to her. Patty requires assistance digging for dinosaur bones near the nearby building. However, be cautious because there’s a large dog patrolling the area.

Before starting your digging, it’s wise to prepare some items, such as nuts or strawberries for health restoration. Creating a stink bomb to scare off the dog can be helpful, although it’s not essential to finish the quest.

If you skip making the stink bomb, the dog can bite you, which will quickly lower your health.

How to Collect Bone Shards

Once you have your pickaxe and shovel ready, race down to the doghouse. There are multiple digging spots scattered around, but keep in mind that not every spot will have bones. You’ll need to sneak past the dog and dig at each location to find bones.

After you succeed in digging up a bone, use your pickaxe to break it apart into smaller pieces. You’ll typically get two to three pieces per bone, so you just need to dig up a few before you can return to Patty.

Always keep an eye on the dog! He will follow your scent and can send you flying if he catches you.

Once you’ve gathered five bone shards, make sure they’re in your inventory when you head back to Patty in the trees. She’ll thank you for your help and reward you with a special family recipe: Lavender-Strawberry Paste.
