One of the highlights of playing Runescape: Dragonwilds is the seamless progression through various equipment tiers. Unlike many Survival Crafting games where it can take hours to level up, this game allows you to quickly gather the materials needed for the initial tiers.
When you first attempt to enhance your gear, you’ll likely face a shortage of Adhesive. While this resource isn’t particularly hard to find, the method for creating it can be overlooked. Here’s everything you need to know about making Adhesive.
How To Make Adhesive
To acquire Adhesive in Runescape: Dragonwilds, head to the Whispering Swamp area, which is the third biome northeast of your starting village. Here, you can collect both Clay and Swamp Tar, which are essential for creating Adhesive.
Once you gather some Clay, you’ll unlock a recipe for the Kiln, which requires the following materials:
- Eight Ash Logs
- 20 Stone
- Six Clay
- Ten Fire Rune
You can obtain Fire Runes by defeating enemies and searching their loot or by crafting them at the Rune Altar.
After setting up the Kiln, place Swamp Tar inside, and you’ll produce Adhesive in just a few moments. Every Tar you put in the Kiln yields one Adhesive.
While Swamp Tar isn’t particularly hard to find, it can sometimes blend into the environment, making it tricky to spot. A great spot to search for it is on the bridge east of Whispering Swamp, where you’ll encounter a few goblin enemies.
Once you cross this bridge, continue along the path to discover a good quantity of Swamp Tar waiting for you.
