Abihiko and Nagasunehiko’s Location and Weaknesses
Where to Find Nagasunehiko and Abihiko
The adventure continues in chapter five of Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army as you infiltrate a hidden Subterranean Shipping Facility near Harumi-cho on the eastern edge of the Capitol. You can access it by navigating on Big Tarrasque and entering a code provided by one of Tae’s contacts, Sadakichi.
Venture to the lowest floor, encountering numerous elemental Nethergates on your way. You’ll need to persuade an Ippon-Datara to help dispel one of them. Once you’re ready, head towards the bottom floor where you’ll witness a scene involving Kaya and Munakata, followed by a challenging battle as the general wraps up his monologue.

Best Demons for the Battle with Abihiko and Nagasunehiko
Since each brother is vulnerable to opposing elements, you’ll need to strategize your attacks carefully. Abihiko is weak to Cryo magic, so bring Frost Order demons to the battle, while Nagasunehiko is susceptible to Pyro magic, necessitating Pyro Order demons.
However, be mindful that both brothers wield elemental damage as well, putting your Frost and Pyro Order demons at risk during the fight. Gouto frequently advises you to “protect your demons” as strong attacks come your way, especially since the brothers can unleash a devastating combo once their health drops to a critical level. Therefore, ensure your demons have solid Magic and Vitality stats.
To counter this, consider having Raidou use Frost Sigil and Pyro Sigil, which you learned in the game’s first chapter. These skills can help mitigate damage to your demons with conflicting weaknesses in combat.
Additionally, it’s wise to carry demons with healing magic, especially in tough boss fights. While the brothers are manageable, their combined attacks can inflict serious damage. Prioritize healing items and demons capable of healing during battle in case of emergencies.
How to Defeat Nagasunehiko and Abihiko
When the battle kicks off, ensure you have Frost and Pyro Order demons ready to exploit each brother’s elemental vulnerabilities, making it easier to stagger them during the fight. Abihiko and Nagasunehiko are formidable adversaries, so even your strongest demons may struggle. As they each wield powerful magic, stay focused on targeting their fire and ice weaknesses.
If you’re not using Raidou’s Summoner Skills for elemental damage, issue commands to your demons to ensure they’re attacking the correct brother. Abihiko resists fire, while Nagasunehiko is less affected by ice, so avoid wasting your MAG on the wrong one.
Both brothers will occasionally perform a powerful spinning attack called Amatobi. You’ll hear some dialogue before this, giving you a heads-up. They will then embrace and spin wildly across the battlefield, targeting Raidou.
When you see this attack coming, dive out of the way, as it deals Almighty damage that can’t be blocked like regular elemental attacks.
The Amatobi attack starts with a wide range but narrows as time passes, increasing your chances of getting hit. During this attack, you can’t damage the brothers. It’s best to go on the defensive, pulling your demons back to keep them safe while waiting for the attack to conclude. Once they separate, continue the fight as before.
Stick to the strategy of dealing elemental damage to crit and stagger the brothers, then follow up with powerful sword combos while keeping an eye out for opportunities to use Devil’s Bane.
Remember, you’ll need to defeat both brothers to finish this challenging boss battle in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army. It may be best to attack both brothers evenly throughout the encounter.
If one brother falls first, the surviving sibling will inherit their abilities, significantly increasing the challenge of the last stage of the battle. You’ll hear a brief speech about revenge from the remaining brother, who will then ramp up the offense considerably.
While the surviving brother gains the other’s magic attacks, they still retain their elemental weaknesses. For instance, if you defeat Nagasunehiko first, Abihiko will gain his ice magic but remain weak to Pyro moves and can no longer perform Amatobi on his own.
To minimize the fight time with a boosted sibling, try to take down both brothers as close together as possible, distributing your damage evenly. The chapter concludes once the fight is over, so ensure to save Kaya Daidouiji and save your game before proceeding to episode six.
