If you’ve been playing Crimson Desert for a while, you probably already know that some of the most enjoyable parts of the game involve exploring and solving puzzles, along with faction quests you discover as you explore different areas. Some quests are simple, but others can be more challenging.
One of the trickier quests is the Unreachable Village. You won’t receive this quest unless you do a specific action in the game. Once you do, you’ll need to travel quite a distance and then climb a large tree to retrieve the Relic of Pororin, which grants access to the village.
How to Start the Unreachable Village Quest
To begin this quest, you need to try entering the Pororin village three times. The village is located in the middle of the map, southeast of Hernand Highlands. If you’ve uncovered your map, you’ll notice a secluded water body in this area. The water may appear blurry if the map isn’t fully revealed. Pororin village sits on the north side of this lake, and you can reach it by riding straight south from the Sanctum of Temperance. When you attempt to enter the village, you’ll be sleep-darted by a couple of Shai characters and pushed back.
You must attempt this entrance three times for the quest to trigger.
After being pushed out for the third time, get up and move forward a bit to meet Arkin, who will start the quest for you.
How to Obtain the Relic of Pororin
Once you’ve spoken with Arkin, an area to the east of Pororin village will be marked on your map. First, travel north past the village, then move east to reach the designated spot. You can climb a small hill there to meet Arkin again, where she’ll tell you that the Relic of Pororin is on a giant, walking tree.
Waiting a few moments will cause the tree to appear in the area. Sticking around on the hill where you met Arkin is recommended. When the tree shows up, you can climb it easily from this vantage point and retrieve the relic from its head. After you bring the relic back to the quest giver, you’ll gain access to Pororin.
Note: Sometimes, the tree might not appear immediately. If you’ve waited over a couple of minutes, try teleporting away and coming back. There is a teleport point on a larger cliff near the hill, and its marker appears only once you start climbing the tree. Make sure to use it before leaving the area.
