Throughout Elderwood in Palia, you’ll find ancient white statues, draped in moss and surrounded by vibrant blue and purple vines and flowers. When you approach them, they will request an offering of one or two Sacred Flowers.
These statues are known as Umbraan Shrines, and making offerings can lead to some exciting rewards. This guide will help you locate all the shrines in Elderwood and the goodies you can receive from them.
Locating Umbraan Shrines
The Umbraan Shrines are scattered throughout Elderwood. Some are easy to find, while others might require a bit more exploration. Make sure to check every corner and hidden spot you can find.
You might discover some shrines behind waterfalls, near ruins, tucked away in caves, or high up on cliffs. Though some shrines may blend with their environment, others will stand out—regardless, they all share the same look.
There are 15 Umbraan Shrines in total in Elderwood, with the last shrine likely located in Vendruu Way, which is currently blocked off by Echo walls and remains inaccessible.
Using Umbraan Shrines
When you find a shrine, engage with it to learn what it needs for an offering. Typically, you’ll need to bring one Sacred Flower, but some shrines might ask for two.
The shrine’s location will be marked on your map until you make an offering, making it easier to return and complete it later.
Sacred Flowers are a unique item obtainable in Elderwood. You can find some scattered across the map or earn them through quests or by hunting Waveback Ogopuus and Piksii Shmoles. Alternatively, you can purchase them at Tamala’s Potion Shop for 350 infected essence.
When you successfully make an offering at a shrine, you’ll receive either a mystery artifact bag or a resource mystery bundle.
After completing offerings at all 15 shrines, you’ll achieve the Paying Respects accomplishment, which grants you 30 Renown and a Finishing Runestone.
