In The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, players can pray at the shrines dedicated to the Daedric Princes by presenting offerings they desire. In return, you’ll receive a quest. Completing these quests often grants you a Daedric Artifact, which is a powerful and unique tool.
The Sheogorath quest is bestowed by the Daedric Prince of Madness, known for its creativity. Before you can embark on this adventure, you’ll need to bring a few items to his shrine to engage him.
How to Begin the Sheogorath Quest
To kick off the Sheogorath quest, you first need to find his shrine, which is located southeast of Bravil and north-northwest of Leyawiin. Be prepared to venture off the main road to discover it. Once you arrive, converse with Ferul Ravel.
If you express your desire to speak with Sheogorath, he will explain the items needed for your offering. Remember, you must be at least level two to start this quest. You will need to gather and present the following items at the Shrine of Sheogorath:

Lesser Soul Gem |
You can find these throughout your journey in the Imperial Province. They are often located in chests and on certain enemy corpses. You can also buy or steal them from stores that sell magical items, like Edgar’s Discount Spells in the Imperial City. |
Lettuce |
This item is commonly found inside houses and in barrels, or you can purchase it from inns, such as the Merchant’s Inn in the Imperial City. |
Yarn |
You can often discover yarn in homes, but if you can’t locate it or prefer not to steal, head to the Imperial City’s Market District. There are numerous storage crates there, and you can check each one for yarn. |
Sheogorath Quest Walkthrough

Once you’ve gathered all the items, return to Sheogorath’s shrine and speak to him. He’ll instruct you to visit a nearby village called Border Watch and inquire about the K’Sharra Prophecy with their shaman.
Border Watch isn’t far from the shrine; you can follow the quest marker to guide you. Upon arriving, look for a Khajiit named Ri’Bassa in black robes, who is their shaman. Ask him about the K’Sharra Prophecy, and he will question if you are a scholar.

If you say you enjoy ridiculous prophecies, Ri’Bassa will become angry, lowering his disposition towards you. To continue with the quest, you’ll need to persuade him. Alternatively, if you choose the option of being a traveling scholar, he’ll gladly share information about the prophecy.
Ri’Bassa will reveal two of the three signs of the K’Sharra Prophecy. He will mention that the first sign is an invasion of rats, and the second is that their livestock will die for no clear reason.
However, he will refuse to disclose the third sign, emphasizing that if the signs come true, it would spell doom for the world.
How to Make the First Sign Come True

The shaman will then suggest discussing the settlement’s affairs. If you do, you’ll learn about the local inn, where the owner is an enthusiastic cheese collector. Visit the Border Watch Inn and ask the owner about cheese. She will mention that one particular cheese, when cooked, has the potential to tempt rats from afar.
You can either pickpocket the owner to acquire the keys to the display case or opt to unlock it. There are two cases, but you only need to unlock the one containing one slice of cheese.
After unlocking it, take the Olroy Cheese and step outside the inn. You’ll find a cooking pot in the settlement’s center. Approach it and use the pot to cook the Olroy Cheese.

Doing this will draw numerous non-hostile rats to the settlement. You’ll witness the shaman rush to his home to distribute rat poison around the town.
How to Make the Second Sign Come True

The second sign of the K’Sharra Prophecy indicates that the livestock will perish. After discussing the prophecy with Ri’Bassa, you learned that the settlement has six sheep kept in a pasture. Now, you’ll need to collect the rat poison that the shaman is distributing in the chaos.
The quest log will consistently prompt you to converse with Ri’Bassa after the first sign is fulfilled, but talking to him will not advance the quest.

After obtaining the poison, head to the sheep’s pen and mix the rat poison into their feeding trough. You’ll need to wait until each sheep has consumed the tainted food. You can pass some time here, and all the sheep will succumb shortly after eating.
The Final Sign of the Prophecy

As soon as the sheep perish, you’ll hear Sheogorath’s voice urging you to go to the center of the settlement and duck. The ducking isn’t essential. Following the quest marker to the center, your character will freeze momentarily, but you can still observe your surroundings.
The sky will darken, turning red, followed by a rain of burning wolf corpses, leading the villagers to panic and believe that the K’Sharra Prophecy has officially come to pass.
Claiming the Wabbajack

Once the last sign has occurred, return to Sheogorath’s shrine. Speaking to the shrine will conclude the quest, and you’ll earn the Wabbajack. This staff can transform enemies into different creatures for ten seconds, making it a fun and tactical tool to wield.
This staff can be particularly advantageous in battles against tough opponents, as it has the potential to transform them into weaker beings.
The outcome of using this staff is random, adding to the charm of this whimsical weapon.
