Pit Seeds
Pit Seeds is an unusual Challenge Course located in the Forest Layer of Donkey Kong Bananza. The course is set inside a hollow tree, providing a vertical space instead of a typical long obstacle course. As the name suggests, there are many seeds to work with.
The objective is to pop five balloons to earn the middle Banandium Gem after completing the course. You will create paths to the balloons using the beanstalks that grow from the seeds. Keep in mind that these seeds do not stick to all surfaces and reset after each use.
You also cannot throw the seeds at the balloons directly.
Where To Find The First Banandium Gem In Pit Seeds
When you enter the level, grab the seed and then turn around. Look up to spot a wooden platform. Toss the seed up to this platform, and a path will form. Walk on this path, and you’ll find the first Banandium Gem at the top of the ramp.
Where To Find The Second Banandium Gem In Pit Seeds
This time, you need to pop all five balloons. Right as you enter the level, there will be a seed and a balloon nearby. Jump on the beanstalk to reach the first podium, where you will see another balloon on the left (along with another seed).
The next three balloons might be a bit tricky. One is inside the green column with spikes on top. Launch a seed near it and punch through the wall to pop it.
Another balloon is directly under the middle platform. Aim at the wood behind it from the lowest platform to hit it.
The last balloon is across from the bottom platform but can’t be accessed due to a Neptunite barrier. Use a seed to travel from the bottom platform to the wooden wall on either side, then take another seed along the beanstalk to reach the balloon.
Once you pop all five balloons, a barrel will appear at the bottom of the map to take you back to the entrance.
Where To Find The Third Banandium Gem In Pit Seeds
While navigating the lower parts of the hollow tree, you’ll encounter a Neptunite barrier on the back wall. Behind this barrier in a small alcove lies the third Banandium Gem.
To get this gem, throw a seed to the wood behind it. If you can land close enough, you should be able to jump up and punch it. If you’re too far, go back and try again with better aim. Once you get this, you will have completed the level.
