The Forgotten Knights are part of the endgame factions in Last Epoch, overseeing the Harbinger system. These Harbingers are formidable endgame bosses you encounter in the Echoes of the Monolith of Fate, providing rare loot and unique items upon defeat.
The final boss of the game, Aberroth, is also connected to the Forgotten Knights. To face this ultimate challenge, you first need to earn the trust of the Forgotten Knights. Below is an overview of everything you need to know about this faction, including joining procedures and how to improve your rank.
How to Join the Forgotten Knights
You will encounter the Forgotten Knights after defeating your first Harbinger in a level 90 Monolith. A Harbinger shows up once you complete the Spirits of Fire, The Last Ruin, and The Age of Winter Monoliths, which become accessible after finishing prior Monoliths.
Regardless of the order you choose for these three Monoliths, identify the Harbinger at the end of the third Quest Echo. After defeating this Harbinger, exiting the Echo will lead you to the Shattered Road, where the Forgotten Knights are located. Speak with one of the Forgotten Knights to join their faction.
Unlike Item Factions, you can join all Endgame Factions simultaneously.
Forgotten Knights Reputation
Building reputation with the Forgotten Knights is slightly different from other factions in the game. Each time you defeat a new Harbinger at the end of a Timeline, your rank with the Forgotten Knights will increase by one.
Since you must defeat every Harbinger at least once to face Aberroth, the Forgotten Knights keep track of your progress towards this final boss, offering valuable bonuses as you take down new Harbingers.
However, finding new Harbingers isn’t as straightforward as encountering them in the third Echo Quest of a Timeline. You will need to increase your Corruption by completing Empowered Monoliths.
Your Corruption grows as you finish Echoes in Empowered Monoliths, starting from 100. While Corruption boosts both the health and damage of enemies, it also enhances the experience and rarity of the items you obtain. This means each new Harbinger you face will become progressively tougher as your Corruption rises.
Once you defeat every Harbinger in all Timelines, you can challenge Aberroth from the Shattered Road by using a Harbinger Eye.
