Monster Hunter Wilds is sticking to its post-launch updates with Title Update 2, which introduces new event and challenge quests, including the arena challenge quest called Fleeting Bubbles. In this quest, you’ll face off against a Mizutsune in the arena with a set gear loadout.

Your reward for completing the quest depends on how quickly you finish it. You’ll earn Mizutsune-themed pendants to customize your weapon. Below, we’ll cover everything you need to know about this quest, such as its availability, loadout options, and what the pendant rewards look like.

If you don’t consider skill, Set B is the top choice for finishing this quest in less than four and a half minutes because of the powerful Gunlance. However, if you’re not comfortable using the Gunlance, one of the other sets might suit you better, especially if you prefer the Sword and Shield or Hammer.

It’s achievable to secure an A-Rank with any of these three sets, so experiment with the one you find most familiar until you succeed. As the name suggests, these quests are designed to be challenging, so don’t be discouraged if it takes a few attempts to get it right.

Quest Rewards

Your rewards will vary based on how quickly you complete the quest:

  • A Rank 4’30”00 – Mizutsune: Mark of Mastery pendant
  • B Rank 8’00″00 – Mizutsune: Mark of Bravery pendant
  • C Rank 50’00″00 – Mizutsune: Mark of Contest pendant

Rewards will be handed out about one to two weeks after the event ends, so you can expect them around late July to early August.
