Completing the Dog Days of Summer Challenge in BitLife: A Guide

BitLife has introduced a challenge called Dog Days of Summer! If you want to earn a mystery prize and show off your skills to your friends, here’s what you need to do to complete the challenge.

If you’re not sure how to go about it, don’t worry! Just check out our guide to easily complete each goal.

Dog Days Of Summer Challenge Objectives

Be born in Indiana.
Adopt five or more dogs.
Own a mastiff named Hercules.
Become a famous baseball player.
Have a baby named Ruth.

How To Complete All Objectives

Here’s how to tackle each goal so you stay on track:

How To Be Born In Indiana

When starting your new life, choose Indianapolis, USA, as your birthplace.

How To Become A Famous Baseball Player

Age until you are in Middle School and then do the following:

Select Public Middle School.
Go to Activities.
Choose the Baseball Team.
Try out for the team.

After making the team, return to the School menu:

Pick Public Middle School.
Go to Baseball Team.
Select ‘Practice Harder’ before aging up each time.

Once in High School, repeat the same process, practice harder, and agree to be Captain if asked. After graduating, you should receive a sports scholarship to continue playing Baseball at University. Keep practicing!

After university, you should be offered a place in the Pro Draft.

If you get the Pro Athlete Job Pack for free by watching a video, take it! If not, you may need to buy it later.

Then go to:

Occupation
Special Careers
Pro Athlete
BitLife Major League
Select a team and ‘Request a tryout’.

Once on a team, go to:

Occupation
Professional Athlete
Practice
Work on your skills each time before aging up.

Accept promotions and follow your coach’s advice. Eventually, you’ll become famous!

How To Own A Mastiff Named Hercules

If you are a Bitizen, do the following:

Go to the Activities tab.
Select Pets.
Choose Dog Breeders.
Find Mastiff.
Buy a Mastiff.
Rename it Hercules.

If you are not a Bitizen and want to save money:

Go to the Activities tab.
Select Pets.
Choose Animal Shelter.
If a Mastiff is available, adopt it! If not, restart the game to refresh the pets.
Rename it Hercules.

How To Adopt Five Dogs

You can use either the Pet Shelter or Dog Breeders as a Bitizen to adopt four more dogs. However, you might run out of space!

Go to the Activities tab, select ‘Go Shopping’, and choose Real Estate. Look for an equestrian property or one that has a lot of land to accommodate five dogs.

How To Have A Baby Named Ruth

Go to the Activities tab, select Love, and go on a date with someone you like.

Once in a relationship, go to Relationships tab, and choose ‘Make Love’ until you get a pregnancy notification. Age up to have the baby and name them Ruth.
