Completing the Competitive Belt in Infinity Nikki: A Guide to Solving

In Infinity Nikki, there are several rare materials that you can only gather after defeating challenging Esselings. One of the tougher foes you’ll encounter is the Competitive Belt, known for its aggressive attacks and strong defense. To effectively battle it, you’ll need to provoke it to lower its guard.

The Unyielding Leather is a valuable material, so make sure to collect it regularly. This item is essential for crafting a fantastic Rare Piece, which you’ll receive the blueprint for after defeating a tough boss.

How to Obtain Unyielding Leather

The Unyielding Leather can initially be found on the Serenity Islands, specifically deep within the Mining Cavern. To reach it swiftly, teleport to the Saltwrap Bathhouse Warp Spire, then head south along the rock’s edge to find the entrance.

After you reach Misty Peak during Chapter 2 of the Serenity Island’s Exclusive Quest, you’ll arrive at the Patchwork Clinic.

Continue deeper into the Cavern, and you will come across two rocks situated above a rocky area. Move forward and jump over obstacles in your path. You may find a locked gate, which can be opened with a nearby lever.

You’ll soon encounter a Springbloom that can be awakened using the Springbloom Awakening Outfit. Dive into the water to climb up and reach the rocks. Push the right rock to break a wall, revealing a new path. Venture inside to locate the Competitive Belt.

During the quest Thunder Rumbles Through The Mist, you’ll discover another Competitive Belt near the Thing In The Mist Boss, located inside the Blocked Cavern.

How to Defeat the Competitive Belt

The Competitive Belt is a highly defensive enemy, meaning most of your hits may not deal any damage. Be cautious of its aggressive charged attacks, as it will reflect the purity orbs you launch at it.

To win, you need to dodge its attacks while hitting it repeatedly with your purity orbs. Eventually, it will become annoyed, indicated by a red angry mark. This is your signal to start damaging it. You must successfully injure it three times to secure the victory.

Attack	How to Avoid
The Competitive Belt will cross its arms and charge at you.	It will chase you for a while, so keep running or float over it to dodge.
It will charge energy in one arm and dash toward you.	This attack is linear; just move away from its path.
The Competitive Belt will charge energy and launch a projectile at you.	Be ready to jump as it charges for this attack.
