During your challenging stint at the Island Asylum in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, you may have encountered a Pict woman named Sirja, who was also attempting to escape. Like you, the Red Priests subjected her to cruel experiments, leaving her with lasting scars.

Eventually, you had to part ways as Caradoc waited for you outside the prison, seemingly marking the end of your connection. However, in a vast land like Avalon, the world can feel surprisingly small, and you might just have an opportunity to reconnect with this kindred spirit.

How to Find Sirja

To reunite with Sirja after your encounter at the Island Asylum, you’ll first need to complete the side quest Spread Your Wings and side with Vidar during this quest to unlock his questline, A Crow Left Of Murder.

Next, you must finish the first two quests of A Crow Left Of Murder. In these missions, you’ll be tasked with hunting down and eliminating specific targets assigned by Vidar in various locations throughout Avalon, then returning with proof of your kills.

• For A Crow Left Of Murder, your targets are Hrolf and Bran the Bloodhound, who can both be found in the Horns Of The South.

  • Hrolf is a Keeper located in the Horns Of The South Keep, near the Abandoned House. Engaging him will lead to a fight.
  • Bran the Bloodhound can be discovered at the small watchtower to the left of the Ruined Broch. You’ll need to contend with a group of bandits and him.
• In A Crow Left Of Murder Part Two, you will hunt Flann and Withers, both found in Cuanacht.
  • Flann resides in Cuanacht’s Prison. Like with Hrolf, you’ll need to speak with him to start the battle.
  • Withers can be located in Withers’ Hideout, situated in the western region of Cuanacht near the Corrupted Temple. He also shares vital information before you engage him in combat.

After completing these quests, you can pick up A Crow Left Of Murder Three from Vidar in Cuanacht, where you’ll be tasked with tracking down a Pictish woman sighted in the Forlorn Swords.

Make sure to complete the main story quests in both Act I and Act II, such as Shadow of the Horns and Menhir Rites, to access the Forlorn Swords, as it’s the final area in the game.

You can locate Sirja in a cave on the northeastern side of the Forlorn Swords, directly south of the Forlorn Swords Zone Two Gate and its fast travel point. This route is the quickest since Vidar’s location in Cuanacht is near the entrance to the Forlorn Swords.

You’ll encounter an Eldritch Reaver outside the cave entrance, a tougher version of the Wyrdspawn seen during the Wyrdnight. Defeating it yields some Ethereal Cobwebs, an Exquisite Unidentified Item, and three Wyrdplasm.

Once inside, traverse the rock bridges until you find Sirja by a campfire at the back of the cave. Make sure to talk to her before engaging in the fight, just as you did earlier.

Should You Kill Sirja or Not?

Towards the end of your conversation with Sirja, you’ll be faced with two choices: kill her and return her head to Vidar, who requested it, or spare her and mislead Vidar about her fate.

Sirja’s Cape has a special trait that increases the chances of additional loot dropping by 50%, which can be very beneficial for farming materials for high-end craftable armor sets like the Frostwoven Set.

Killing her doesn’t significantly influence the quest’s ultimate goal; it mainly hinges on whether you prefer Sirja to survive or wish to acquire her unique cape.

Regardless of your decision, you’ll still need to locate Vidar at his new spot within the Forlorn Swords to complete A Crow of Murder Part Three. He can be found in an isolated mountain area near the southern tip of the region; the only way to reach him is by crossing the large sword bridge close to the Úlfr Tribe Village.
