If you’ve been diving into the different tasks and minigames featured in your Starlit Moments within the Sea of Stars area from the version 1.5 update of Infinity Nikki, you might have noticed that some can be a bit challenging to locate and engage with.

A common task you’ll encounter is chasing shooting stars while wandering around the Sea of Stars map. To participate, you need to go to a specific spot in that area to wish on the shooting stars in Infinity Nikki.

How to Complete Shooting Star’s Call

With the addition of the Sea of Stars in the April 2025 update, Infinity Nikki introduced a wealth of new features, including multiplayer options and an entirely new storyline. To explore all this, start by fast traveling to the Sea of Stars using the Warp Nexus you unlocked during the opening scene with The Seer.

The spot you need to find is north of the platform where you can ride a paper plane for a beautiful view of the area or to capture unique photos for your Nikki. When the Starlit Moment task is active, a circular area will be marked on the map; step inside this circle to get started.

To wish on shooting stars in Infinity Nikki, simply press and hold your bell, similar to how you can summon three additional Starlit Shards each day near any of the Warp Nexus locations in the Sea of Stars. Ringing the bell while inside the circle will allow you to make a wish on a shooting star and fulfill the Shooting Star’s Call task.

Your first wish on a shooting star in the Sea of Stars will complete the fourth course in the seventh section of your Courses tab, titled “Complete ‘Shooting Star’s Call’ for the first time,” and you’ll earn a handful of Diamonds. After this initial completion, you’ll only receive rewards if wishing on shooting stars appears on your Starlit Moments task list for that day.
