In Schedule 1, you’ll step into the role of a business owner running an illegal drug operation in your local town. Your goal is to forge alliances with suppliers, dealers, and workers, all while crafting high-quality products for your customers to expand your empire. However, keep in mind, this venture is against the law, and getting caught by the patrol cops can spell disaster for your business.
Besides manufacturing and distributing your products, you’re also given the chance to engage in some underhanded activities to boost your earnings. One of these activities includes the art of pickpocketing unsuspecting townsfolk.
Pickpocketing Method
To effectively pickpocket someone, start by crouching down by pressing the Ctrl key on your keyboard. Position yourself behind your target, and when you’re close enough, a prompt will appear, indicating it’s time to pick their pocket.
Once the prompt shows up, press E to initiate the pickpocketing mini-game. You’ll be able to see the target’s pockets represented as a series of inventory slots on your screen. Look for items to snatch, which will be located behind a lock icon.
You will notice a small arrow fluctuating below a bar that will shift into red or green zones. The goal here is to hit the spacebar to halt the arrow precisely when it lands in the green areas.
Warning
If you happen to stop the arrow in the red zone, your target will be alerted, which might lead them to call the police or attack you.
On a successful attempt landing in a green area, the item above will become unlocked, allowing you to drag it into your own inventory without drawing attention. If your target possesses multiple items, you can play the mini-game again to unlock each item.
Caution
Be cautious: if the police are close by when you decide to pickpocket, they may notice your actions and choose to investigate.
Engaging in pickpocketing can be a lucrative way to gain extra cash and valuable items. Additionally, this mischievous act can also allow you to reclaim products that you’ve previously sold, and successfully pickpocketing for the first time will earn you a special achievement.
