Completing Sine's Romance Quests in Tainted Grail: Avalon’s Fall

In the game Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, saving the world from the Wyrd involves more than just piecing together King Arthur’s soul. If you choose, you can also explore romantic connections amid the chaos. Certain characters can offer companionship and a refreshing break from the dark upheaval surrounding the Menhirs.

One character to consider is Sine. However, gaining her affection will require some effort. While it may not be the most traditional romance, there’s an opportunity to unwind in Cuanacht.

Where to Find Sine

Upon arriving in Cuanacht, you will notice the city’s devastation, now under the control of Kamelotian troops. Head to the western part of the city, where you’ll find Beor the blacksmith. Look for a small tent and stall in front of Erfyr’s shop, alongside a rather grumpy woman standing guard.

This is Sine, and she isn’t one for small talk. If you’re in need of work, she has tasks for you. Complete them swiftly, and she’ll reward you handsomely. While it starts as a straightforward arrangement, deeper feelings may grow if you continue to engage with her.

Sine’s Bounty Quests

Sine has put up four bounties on the bulletin board in the craftsmen’s district of Cuanacht. Since she can’t trust the other recruits or townsfolk, it’s up to you to complete them. Here’s what she needs:

Wolf Pelts	10	Wolves are abundant in the wilderness, so they’re easy to track down.

Completing these quests will not only win Sine’s favor but also earn you some gold for your efforts. It’s a beneficial arrangement!

Through the Cracks Quest

Next, ask Sine if there’s more you can do for her. She mentions that supplies have gone missing at night from the storeroom, and even the guard stationed to watch over them has disappeared. She requests you to investigate.

Go to the storeroom at night, located just around the corner from Sine’s stall, behind Erfyr’s smithy. Inside, everything seems normal—except for the massive swirling portal on the floor to your right.

Jump inside to find Percy, the missing guard. He has been trapped there since the night he was assigned to guard the supplies. He claims there’s no exit.

Fortunately, with King Arthur’s powers, you can activate artifacts within this realm.

As you navigate the town, you’ll need to battle Wyrdbeasts and some Fae. Follow the trail of dark vines and use the artifacts to open new paths.

Eventually, after crossing a bridge, you’ll encounter Gaelric Tarian. Beyond him lies the portal to the real world, which you need to access. However, he is tied to this realm and has been trapped for ages. He longs for a quick death, so grant him that mercy.

To dodge attacks, back into the area with the portal and keep moving in circles!

Once you defeat Gaelic, jump through the portal and return to Sine with the good news. With the Wyrd disturbance resolved, she will be grateful for your help.

Sepulchral Path Quest

When you see Sine next, ask if she needs anything else. A recent fire has destroyed one of the warehouses, during which she discovered a secret trapdoor. Although Denholm advised her to forget it, Sine can’t let it go. She sends you to talk to a man named Filth in a ruined tower to the east.

Enter his hideout and get the key to the underground city. In exchange, he requests that you retrieve a specific cube he left behind.

Head to the trapdoor highlighted on your map, then open the chest in the corner to find the first of four necessary scrolls.

Be sure to read the scrolls before the quest ends for extra lore, as they will be taken!

Next, dive down the hole into a cavern filled with undead. Eliminate them as you navigate the ruins beneath Cuanacht, then proceed to a side chamber illuminated by candles.

Unlock the chest behind the candles to recover the second scroll, then continue exploring the main area of the underground city, winding your way deeper.

Don’t forget to grab Filth’s Cube as you press on!

At the bottom of the ruins, you’ll face the Servant of the Rite. Defeat him, collect the rare items he holds, and proceed to the bloody altar for the final two scrolls.

You can take a shortcut through a side tunnel to return to the upper floors of the ruins. Dive into the water and follow the stream to a door leading back to Cuanacht.

Report your findings to Sine. Although she wishes she could have joined you, she appreciates your efforts. She then instructs you to deliver the scrolls to Denholm.

Denholm will ask where you found them and who sent you, so it’s a good idea to cover for Sine if you want to pursue a romance.

How to Spend the Night with Sine

After you’ve finished all of Sine’s tasks, she’ll question why you keep visiting her. Her tone becomes playful, and you can flirt back. When she asks if you want something more, reply with, “And what if I do?”

She’ll invite you to her tent after dark, located just behind her stall, which is easy to find. When the time comes, feel free to flirt further or get straight to the point.

You’ll share an intimate moment with her and wake up alone the next morning. Duty calls, and Sine has to prepare for her tasks. If you try to discuss the previous night, she’ll clarify that she’s not seeking a regular relationship.

It was a fun experience, but you both will move on.
