Botanists play a vital role in planting and harvesting various seeds, whether for cannabis or cocaine. You’ll need to assign them to grow boxes and storage shelves filled with the necessary materials and set them up with a designated bed via the management clipboard.
How to Hire a Botanist
Like other staff members, such as Cleaners and Packers, you can hire Botanists through the Fixer located in the Warehouse, which you unlock at Hoodlum V.
Hiring a Botanist requires an initial payment of $1,000, followed by a daily cost of $200 that needs to be placed in the suitcase at the end of their assigned bed.
You can set up beds at any of your properties, not just where the Botanist will be working. Additionally, feel free to place as much cash as you like in the suitcase at their bed, eliminating the need for daily cash replenishment.
What to Do If Your Botanist Isn’t Working
To ensure your Botanist is productive, they need access to storage containing soil and seeds, along with assigned grow boxes. This can be managed through the Management Clipboard. Just select the worker and assign them to their designated workstations.
For Botanists, choose a storage area for seeds and soil (along with any fertilizers or quick-grow products you want them to use), then assign the pots they will cultivate in. After that, utilize the Manage Pot feature to link the pots to a storage area for your harvested goods.
Keep in mind that Botanists don’t package the products. To manage packaging, you’ll need to assign Packers to the shelves where Botanists store their plants and also designate a packaging station.
